Jon Delson smiled slightly; some things didn't need to be spoken aloud.
"Grandpa, I... I don't want to," Alice said softly.
Hearing his granddaughter's words, the old man's expression immediately darkened. To him, this matter was not about whether Alice was willing or not, but rather whether Jiang Chen was willing.
"Why?" Jon Delson asked with a stern face.
"I don't want to be an old man's girlfriend," Alice replied.
"Who said this Hua Xia Expert is an old man? He's very young, not even twenty yet. Besides, he is your grandfather's master now. You wouldn't want to see your grandpa lose all his standing, would you? If he takes a liking to you, your grandpa can have a bit more dignity in front of him," Jon Delson explained earnestly.
"Dad, you mean this Hua Xia Expert is your master? Then what should we call him when we meet?" John Delson couldn't help but ask.
"Your Huaxia language skills aren't good enough, so just call him 'Sir.' As for why, you don't need to ask too much. My survival this time depends entirely on my master," Jon Delson said, his respect for Jiang Chen coming from the heart. Jiang Chen's strength was simply incredible; what was more crucial was that he was so young. Jon Delson had seen countless people but could not fathom Jiang Chen at all. Jiang Chen seemed more vast and mysterious than the starry sky itself. Jon Delson had a vague feeling that following Jiang Chen was the best decision of his life.
Everyone exchanged glances, astonished. Their elder's status was so esteemed that he had to refer to a Huaxia person as 'master.' After all, they were Americans and had always felt a sense of superiority over Huaxia people; it was understandable that they found it hard to accept.
"Grandpa, but I still don't want to," Alice said firmly despite her surprise.
"Alice, whether you want to or not is something to discuss later; we must first consider my master's wishes," the old man said helplessly.
Jiang Chen could be considered the most outstanding young person on the entire planet, and the fact that his own granddaughter was unwilling left Jon Delson feeling quite helpless.
"Grandpa, I can listen to you about other matters, but when it comes to my feelings, I will stick to my principles," Alice declared resolutely.
"Alright, let's not discuss this any further," the old man waved his hand, unwilling to continue. If his granddaughter missed out on Jiang Chen, it would only be her regret.
Alice bit her pink lips, her expression complex. She knew her grandfather had not given up yet, but she truly did not want to please any Hua Xia Expert.
That night, Jon Delson opened the Dark Web and Black Web to begin searching for information regarding the Seven Great Artifacts of Huaxia.
There were many messages about the Seven Great Artifacts on the Dark Web forums—some true and some false—that required careful discernment.
As for the Black Web, it primarily served as a forum for high-ranking members of the Dark World. The information here was more reliable but less abundant than on the Dark Web forums since these high-ranking individuals also had secrets they were unwilling to share.
After browsing for a while, Jon Delson suddenly came across a post speculating about the whereabouts of the Seven Divine Artifacts:
The Kunlun Divine Mirror was located in an Island Nation.
The Heaven-Cleaving Axe should still be in Huaxia.
The Immortal Dragon Seal was with the Delson Family.
The Divine Bone Order was with the British Bloodline.
The Heavenly Mechanism Twin Rings left me feeling bewildered, yet the probability of their existence in Huaxia remains high.
Forty years ago, the Five Element Spirit Orbs made their debut at an underground auction. At that time, they were not referred to as the Five Element Spirit Orbs; instead, they were auctioned under the name Night Pearl and were ultimately purchased by a mysterious tycoon from Hong Kong Island.
As for the Devouring Heaven Bottle, it has vanished without a trace.
