“What? The Black Sun sealed with the intent to kill? I, your new master—Embalmer Qian Mo, command you, release the seal…”
Hehehe! Who hasn’t gone through a phase of being overly dramatic? Cardcaptor Sakura once captivated Qian Mo, and reciting such a melodramatic line in this empty space where no one could hear him was simply exhilarating! It not only satisfied his burning desire for theatrics but also spared him from being laughed at by others. It felt great! Absolutely great!
Of course, he had no idea that his father and a mischievous Specter were watching him through the light screen, their mouths twitching uncontrollably… but that’s a story for later.
After finishing that dramatic incantation, a brilliant golden light shot out from the Soul Blood Light Sphere, piercing into the sky where the “sun” had turned blood-red with the restless intent to kill!
“Roar!!!”
The blood-red Crocodile Spirit, though devoid of life, possessed some vague awareness that instinctively told it that the light entering the sun was definitely not something beneficial to itself.
That thing could cause dizziness, nausea, and diarrhea at best; at worst, it could send it kicking its legs and meeting its end!
With a furious roar, the intent to kill surged upward, enveloping the Crocodile Spirit's body and forming a spiked armor around it! The now larger Crocodile Spirit charged toward Qian Mo like a heavily armored tank.
Each spike was half a meter long, glinting with a chilling crimson light. The faint aura emanating from them made Qian Mo feel as if his blood had frozen and his mind was in turmoil, even with the Soul Blood Light Sphere acting as a buffer!
It was easy to imagine that if struck head-on by those murderous spikes, the Soul Blood Light Sphere would burst like a popped balloon, and Qian Mo’s mind would be shattered into pieces.
“Even just grazing against my skin would probably affect my mind with that killing intent, turning me into a beast that only knows slaughter…”
Under normal circumstances, Qian Mo might have fled. But now… with the “laxative” already administered, he felt quite confident dealing with a beast under its effects.
With his spirit bolstered, Qian Mo’s ability to manipulate his mind had increased severalfold. Under his control, the Soul Blood Light Sphere, supported by ample spirit power, swiftly dodged the Crocodile Spirit ’s charges. It even performed some evasive maneuvers when the agitated Crocodile Spirit attempted ranged attacks. This sensation of using an anti-aircraft gun to swat flies only served to further irritate the already low-intelligence Crocodile Spirit. Meanwhile, the river chains binding the “Black Sun” unknowingly weakened just a bit…
“Roar!!!”
A series of furious roars erupted as if the slippery “fly” before it had driven the Crocodile Spirit mad. The blood spear armor covering its body began to emit waves of eerie light that sent chills down one’s spine. Countless blood spears on its armor started to tremble restlessly, clearly preparing to unleash some powerful attack.
Seeing the Crocodile Spirit entering a casting state, Qian Mo felt an urge to interrupt. However, he was currently restrained by that murderous intent which threatened his very sanity; recklessly approaching something he didn’t understand… his instincts warned him it would be suicidal.
Moreover, given the “laxative” he had administered earlier, victory was merely a matter of time—there was no need to take unnecessary risks. The remaining spirit power in the Soul Blood Light Sphere was still sufficient; all he needed to do was defend!
“Roar!”
