"Cut it out! If you want to go, then go! I won't force you anymore!" Wen Xin feigned indifference.
Now Lin Lin found herself in a bit of a dilemma. She wanted to maintain her composure and keep her pride, but Wen Xin was not making it easy for her. She stood there, caught between two choices, unable to decide. Meanwhile, Wen Xin secretly watched her, smiling without saying a word.

"When did you learn to be so sharp-tongued? Is it because I don't hit you that you're feeling a bit off?" Lin Lin warned playfully.
"I'm scared now! Haha!" Wen Xin laughed and ran ahead.
"Wait for me!" Lin Lin shouted.
Before long, they arrived at the grove of poplar trees behind the village. It was still the same grove, but tonight there was no moon, making it a bit dark.
"Er Ge!" Wen Xin called out softly, elongating her voice.
"I'm here! Just stay calm. Wait until the moment is right before making your move; take your time! As long as she doesn't shout, I won't come over to interrupt, haha!" Wen Sheng whispered with a smile to Changqing.
“Brother Wen Sheng!” Lin Lin called out softly, feeling too shy to address Qing Ge.
Wen Sheng emerged from the woods, drawing closer to Lin Lin and secretly inhaling the fragrance of her hair.
“Calm down, little sister! Keep your cool! We don’t want to be at a disadvantage here! Changqing is inside; if she has feelings for you, that’s great. If not, just make sure you don’t get fooled, haha!” Wen Sheng whispered with a chuckle.
“Go away!” Lin Lin laughed.
“You’re all heartless! Just a bunch of ungrateful wolves!” Wen Sheng joked as Lin Lin went inside, turning to Wen Xin outside.
“Haha! Who told you to worry so much?” Wen Xin replied cheerfully.
“I’ll walk you home! It’s late!” Wen Sheng said with a grin.
“No way! I want to see the excitement!” Wen Xin protested.
“Not suitable for children!” Wen Sheng laughed.
“Shut up, liar! I know you’ll sneak a peek later! You can’t stop me from watching!” Wen Xin insisted stubbornly.

“We won’t look, alright?” he said with a smile to Wen Xin.
“Fine! We won’t look! That’s only fair!” Wen Xin replied happily.
“Haha! You!” Wen Sheng gently ruffled Wen Xin’s hair.

The forest was a bit dark, with the wind rustling through the leaves and the occasional chirping of insects. Lin Lin, feeling a bit timid, curled up her body, hugging her shoulders and lowering her head. Through her long, cascading hair, she glanced at Changqing. Her feet, clad in white sneakers, kept tapping nervously against the ground.
“Be my girlfriend!” Changqing pleaded earnestly.
“Why?” Lin Lin asked playfully.
“Because I love you!” Changqing leaned closer to Lin Lin.
“Stop it! Don’t come any closer!” Lin Lin warned, her tone cautious. Women often had a knack for giving subtle reminders and hints at critical moments. Unfortunately for her, Changqing continued to inch closer.
“Stop right there!” Lin Lin took a step back and softly shouted.
“Hehe! I’m perfectly normal today; I won’t act like last time!” Changqing chuckled.
“Who knows?” Lin Lin replied with a smile.
She kept her eyes fixed on Changqing, trying to read his expression in the dim light. Although it was hard to see clearly, she was quietly guessing what he might be thinking. After all, she couldn’t let him take advantage of her, Lin Lin thought to herself.
“I bought you a gift; will you accept it?” Changqing asked tentatively.
“Let me see what it is!” Lin Lin’s eyes widened with curiosity. The wind tousled her long hair, releasing a faint fragrance.
“Take a look!” Changqing pulled out a red box from his pocket, gently opened it, and presented it to Lin Lin. Despite the darkness of the night, she could clearly see that it was a beautiful bracelet.
“It’s so pretty!” Lin Lin smiled slightly.
"Can you accept this?" Changqing asked softly.
"Are there any conditions?" Lin Lin tilted her head and inquired.
"No conditions! Just take it!" Changqing replied, sounding somewhat like a traitor.
"Hehe! If I take it, it must be quite expensive!" Lin Lin said with a smile.
"Over 100! But spending any amount for you is worth it!" Changqing expressed with emotion.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Changqing asked again.
"Guess!" Lin Lin replied, her face lighting up with a blush as she fell silent, the gentle breeze blowing around them. Changqing tentatively wrapped his arm around Lin Lin's shoulders, and she did not resist, leaning lightly against him. As he held her fragrant body, he stroked her cloud-like hair.
Lin Lin smiled sweetly, snuggling into Changqing's embrace, resting her cheek gently against his head. Changqing's lips brushed against Lin Lin's face, inhaling the unique scent of a woman. Calm down, take it slow! Who knows what unexpected rewards might come tonight, Changqing thought to himself.
