Wen Yuan looked at Wen Hao and said, "You need to understand some things from now on. You should be taking care of your younger siblings, yet you keep causing trouble for the family." He shook his head disapprovingly. 0

"I know, I really can't control myself," Wen Hao replied, his eyes filled with confusion. 0

"Do you feel dizzy or unwell?" Wen Yuan asked, trying to guess what was wrong. 0

"I often have headaches! It feels like pressure building up!" Wen Hao pondered. 0

"Is that it? Make some time to visit a big hospital. If you're not feeling well, we should go see a doctor. We can't just mess around at home, can we?" Wen Yuan said kindly. 0

"Okay," Wen Hao nodded, looking down. 0

"I'll head back now; there are still many things to do at the pharmacy! Let's go tomorrow—it's better sooner than later!" Wen Yuan said as he got into his car but turned back once more. 0

"Got it! I understand!" Wen Hao replied. 0

"Child, drink some water before you go!" Wen Sheng's Grandmother came out. 0

"Grandma, you should go back! I still have a lot to do! The clinic might have more patients coming in!" Wen Yuan said as he left. 0

Wen Sheng's Mother and Wen Hao accompanied him out, watching as Wen Yuan drove away before returning home. 0

"I'm sorry, Wen Xin! Has my brother gone mad?" Wen Hao's expression was filled with confusion. 0

Wen Xin sat on her bed with her eyes half-closed. She couldn't bear to look into Wen Hao's eyes or speak. After a moment of thought, she nodded but quickly shook her head. "No, it's not that. Brother is just... not himself!" Even though her voice was soft and gentle, it still made Wen Hao's heart ache a little. 0

"I might really be losing my mind," Wen Hao said as he gazed out the window at the sun hanging high in the treetops. The sunlight was a bit blinding, and he felt a slight dizziness and pain in his head. It had been like this before; he had gone through so much with his father but had never paid attention to it. A dull pain crept into his heart as memories of his beloved girlfriend drifting away surfaced in his mind. The discomfort inside him grew unbearable—who was to blame for this? After leaving her, would he never find another woman? Did he really need a motorcycle to feel complete? It seemed like his resolve was wavering, and his heart began to spiral into chaos. 0

No one noticed his expression; Grandma kept rambling on, while his mother remained silent. Wen Xin breathed softly, appearing to drift off to sleep. 0

Later that evening, Wen Sheng returned home and saw the state of Wen Xin. His head felt like it was about to burst! 0

"What happened?" Wen Sheng gently nudged Wen Xin and asked. 0

"Er Ge! Just don't ask!" Wen Xin burst into tears. Memories of countless sleepless nights over the years flooded back, bringing waves of heartache as tears streamed down her face. 0

Wen Sheng stood up straight, but he couldn't hide the bone-deep soreness and weakness that plagued him. He felt a dull ache in his head and closed his eyes, trying to calm his racing thoughts. 0

He helped Wen Xin turn on the lights in the room, revealing her face, which was as pale as paper, with dark circles under her eyes. Her once rosy cheeks had turned ghostly white as she gently wiped away the tears that had slipped down her face with her fist. 0

"Er Ge! Come here! I need to talk to you!" Wen Xin said softly. 0

"I'm here! I'm listening!" Wen Sheng replied as he moved to sit beside her on the bed. 0

"Wen Yuan came today! His older brother might have been triggered," Wen Xin recounted in fragments, sharing what Wen Yuan had said along with her own analysis. "He can't really be that foolish, can he?" She sighed heavily, her eyes lost in the glow of the light. 0

"He shouldn't be!" Wen Sheng pondered. He had only thought that Wen Hao's behavior was too unusual; he hadn't considered what kind of trigger it could be. A woman? Could a woman be that powerful? He couldn't help but glance at Wen Xin, whose youthful face still held innocence. Years later, he would close his eyes and remember this moment. 0

"Er Ge! If it really comes to that, it's all up to us! We'll have to support our parents and take care of an irresponsible brother!" Wen Xin's heart ached at the thought. 0

No! It’s all on me! Wen Xin was just a girl. 0

"Don't worry! I'm here for you!" Wen Sheng straightened his chest as if trying to hold everything together. 0

"What are you looking at? We don't have any spare money in this house!" He clearly heard his father's voice pierce through his ears like a needle. 0

"But he's just a child!" their mother replied, sounding troubled. 0

"Is he really a child? He's nothing but a wolf!" their father retorted harshly. 0

"If you don't let him see this, how can we keep living here?" their mother cried out, her voice thick with emotion. 0

"Why don't you just take him to see what's wrong? After all, he's your son!" their grandmother chimed in from the side. 0

"If it weren't for your indulgence, he wouldn't have turned out this way! You never let him be disciplined!" their father complained bitterly. 0

Wen Sheng looked at Wen Xin, whose expression was filled with confusion. Like their mother, she had lost considerable weight over the years. The dim light illuminated her slightly pale complexion. He couldn't help but recall an artistic photograph of Wen Xin, her sweet smile still vivid in his mind. The image of their mother holding Wen Xin seemed to resurface before him. Would they ever return to those days of happiness? His eyes began to glisten with unshed tears. 0

"I'll go take a look! You rest well! I'll call you for dinner later!" Wen Sheng gently wrapped his arm around Wen Xin's shoulders. 0

“En! Brother Er.” Wen Xin wanted to say something more but swallowed it back! She hoped Brother Er would not fall! Wen Xin thought, if Brother Er fell, everything would be over! 0

Wen Sheng entered the kitchen, where his parents were discussing taking Wen Hao to the hospital for an examination. His father insisted on not going, unwilling to spend that little money. Fortunately, Wen Hao was not at home. 0

“Dad! You need to have your own opinion and not just listen to others!” Wen Sheng said, frustrated. 0

“What do you suggest then?” Wen Sheng's Father turned to look at Wen Sheng. 0

“Let’s take a look at Wen Hao! Otherwise, when will this situation ever come to an end?” Wen Sheng replied. 0

Wen Sheng's Father lit a cigarette and sat down on a wooden stool in front of the stove. He took a deep breath, and the smoke swirled around him. After a long silence, his mother and Wen Sheng waited for his decision, while Wen Sheng's Grandmother also moved her lips, looking at him without speaking. 0

“We can’t go!” Wen Sheng's Father suddenly exclaimed, his eyes wide open. 0

“Why not?” Wen Sheng's Mother asked in confusion. 0
