That night, Luo Fini couldn't sleep.
Her insomnia was entirely due to Zhu Xue and that kiss that left her feeling all flustered.
Her brother had no idea that his little sister had been taken advantage of. During breakfast, he was still going on about how Zhu Xue was a good person and urged her to feel it with her heart. As a result, she got so angry that she sprayed him with rice.
There was nothing she could do; the combination of sleep deprivation and extreme emotional instability (no, she absolutely refused to admit it was excitement) made her mood quite volatile.
Just when she had settled into work, a lively conversation erupted outside the office.
“Wow, so cute!”
“Tsk tsk, amazing!”
“Oh my gosh, look at this one! Isn’t it just mesmerizing?”
Luo Fini was drawn in by the noise and couldn’t help but rush out of the office. She found a group of colleagues huddled around a computer, each one engrossed and gasping in awe, their faces lit up with fascination.
Are they slacking off during work hours? It seemed that if she didn’t crack down on them a bit as the new supervisor, these people wouldn’t take the initiative to be diligent.
Luo Fini cleared her throat deliberately, preparing to say something stern to warn them when a colleague spotted her and excitedly asked, “Director, have you seen the character designs from New Game? They’re just so beautifully done!”
Oh? So they weren’t looking at those silly dog pictures after all?
A group of people slightly moved aside, allowing Luo Fini to finally see what was on the screen.
At first glance, her eyes instantly turned into heart shapes; with another look, it felt as if flowers were blooming in her heart; with yet another glance, she nearly wanted to leap forward, wrap her arms around the person on the screen, and kiss them passionately.
Her colleague was right; it was simply adorable! It was a chibi version of the Supervisor! That was her beloved factory's flower!
Luo Fini struggled to maintain a serious expression and cleared her throat, saying, "Ahem, who drew this? Hurry up and go to the art team to get close to them and ask for more pictures."
"TI."
"Oh, thanks." After receiving the information, Luo Fini immediately rushed back to her office to check the files. However, after searching high and low, she found no one in the art team named TI. After pondering for a moment, she dialed her brother's number.
Her brother answered on the other end of the line, "Art Team Leader, a somewhat famous illustrator from Japan..." He continued to talk enthusiastically while Luo Fini couldn't wait to hang up.
Since she had just joined the company not long ago, Luo Fini had no idea where the team leader's office was. She briefly stopped by the art team to ask for directions and then rushed in without even announcing herself.

In the office sat someone she both knew well and disliked—Zhu Xue.
At first, Luo Fini thought she had walked into the wrong place. She quickly stepped back and took a careful look at the sign on the door: Team Leader's Office. No mistake there! Could it be that she was hallucinating? But when she turned around again, Zhu Xue was still sitting there calmly.
"Guai Guai Fu, did you miss me so early in the morning?" As soon as he finished speaking, he seemed to glide like a master of light steps, appearing at the door in an instant. He pulled her into the office and casually closed the door behind them.
"I can't believe this..." Luo Fini's words trailed off as she was deeply captivated by the items on the table.
"Ah! Look at that chubby little face, those adorable pouty lips, and that playful gesture..." She simply couldn't resist any longer.
Eagerly, she grabbed a stack of papers and began flipping through them one by one. There were some with silly faces, others with charming smiles, and some with fierce glares... Each drawing was so vivid and lifelike that it struck right at her heartstrings.
"Do you like them? Promise me one thing, and they’re all yours," Zhu Xue had somehow appeared beside her like a clingy shadow, resting his chin gently on her shoulder, his warm breath tickling her ear.
She couldn't help but recall the heart-racing kiss from last night. Hmph, was he trying to play tricks on her again? Without a second thought, Luo Fini raised her hand and aimed a swift strike at him.
Zhu Xue nimbly dodged, a sly grin spreading across his face as he said, "Really don’t want them? I even drew some in girl’s makeup."
The impact of his words was undeniable, pulling Luo Fini back from the step she had just taken.
At that moment, two forces began a fierce tug-of-war in her heart: one was the seemingly innocent Zhu Xue with his mischievous smile, while the other was the image of the girl version of Supervisor bouncing around in her mind, tempting her.
Seeing her inner struggle, he continued with a voice dripping with temptation, "I also have his nude photos—shoulder-baring, chest-revealing, and completely bare..."

Forget it. Even if agreeing came with serious consequences, she couldn't care less anymore!
