I poured all my consciousness into a forceful strike against the stone. With no spiritual power left, I could only draw on the external spiritual energy. "Boom!" The stone shattered in response.
At that moment, I caught sight of him.
In my mind, an image of Fu Yiyun appeared, sitting in the Saintess Hall. He was laughing and chatting with the Saintess, who was covering her mouth and giggling at something he said.
Fu Yiyun must have sensed that the stone had broken, as he glanced toward the Saintess. I heard him say, "She really will stop at nothing. To disturb our meeting, she resorts to such despicable tactics."
"Does she think that by shattering the stone, I would go looking for her? It only makes me feel more disgusted by her."
I saw the Saintess smile charmingly and respond with understanding, " Ge'er really doesn't know better. How could she make such a joke at a time like this?"
I lacked the courage to look any further; I knew no one would come to save me now.
Resigned, I closed my eyes.
"I'll go first, then you second, and little brother last."
I was subjected to humiliation by three men in turn, blood staining the ground.
Time passed in a blur until I lost consciousness. When I awoke again, it was to the torment of excruciating pain.
Having lost my purity last night, Gu Poison had taken effect prematurely.
I felt something writhing within my insides, ready to burst forth at any moment.
I forced myself to stand up, my clothes torn into shreds. I didn’t have time to care about that; I just wanted to die quickly.
Before me lay the sea, and as I breathed gently, I felt a sense of freedom.
Step by step, I walked into the water until it reached my chest.
“Chu Yige! What are you trying to do?!” I turned to see Fu Yiyun and the Saintess standing on the shore.
Fu Yiyun shouted angrily.
“The Saintess never wanted you dead! She treated you well just to expel you from the Hehuan Sect. How can you be so ungrateful?!”
I scoffed and continued to wade deeper into the sea. Sharp stones cut into my feet, and blood mingled with the water.
I said, “Never wanted me dead? What a joke.”
“The Saintess is so pure and virtuous. Why do you insist on being so stubborn and tarnishing her name?” Fu Yiyun retorted.
The Saintess intervened, raising her sword to strike at Fu Yiyun, saying, “ Ge'er doesn’t understand; don’t hold it against her.”
I tilted my head back and laughed heartily. “I don’t understand? Saintess, you truly put on a great performance.”
“Fu Yiyun, if you still have a shred of compassion for me, then end my life with a single stroke. At least I could die more easily.”
"You so-called Saintess, she has cast the Gu Poison Punishment on me!"
Upon being exposed, the Saintess immediately feigned innocence and said, " Ge'er, what nonsense are you talking about? How could I do such a thing to you?"
The Gu Poison was already close to taking effect, and I didn't want to waste more words with them.
But I couldn't help it; I wanted the truth to be known to everyone, to let them see how malicious this so-called Saintess truly was.
"You brought three men to humiliate me yesterday. Am I just making this up?" I spoke calmly while continuing to walk toward the center of the lake.
The Saintess's words were clearly flustered as she replied, "What are you talking about? You're simply spouting lies."
"Fu Yiyun, wasn't it you who planted the Phantom Stone in my body because you didn't trust me?"
The Phantom Stone could reveal my past.
I said nonchalantly, "You can take it out now and see what happened last night."
Seeing my determination, Fu Yiyun felt a stir of emotions within her, and the Saintess noticed their wavering hearts.
She then said, " Ge'er, if you still have a shred of conscience, come back."
