This land is called the Azure Tower Continent, a realm dominated by Beasts. In the sky, the territory of the Flying Beasts is known as Skyfeather City, and further out lies the domain of Sea Beasts, though that area is quite distant from them.
Since the beginning of Beastman tribes, Kong Yu and Qing Tower have been adversaries. The Flying Beasts primarily prey on Beasts; this is both a law and an inherent nature of their conflict, making strife unavoidable.
Yun Zhi Yue asked curiously, "There must be leaders for both factions, right? What tribes do they belong to?"
The Azure Tower Continent's Beastmen Tribe has a monarch known as Your Majesty, who faces challenges every five years. Any race can challenge the Beast King, and whoever defeats all others becomes the ruler. Currently, the Beast King is Xiong Lie from the Black Bear Tribe.
As for Skyfeather City, it has never changed; it is ruled by the Immortal Phoenix Clan, with Yan Lue as its leader now.
"The Phoenix!" Yun Zhi Yue's expression darkened as her fingers instinctively tightened around Mo Ran's shoulder. The Phoenix is a branch of the Phoenix Clan. Back when she was Xian Gu, she was drawn into this conflict to heal Yue Qi's fiancée, a young lady from the Phoenix Clan.
She had been unwilling; many from the Phoenix Clan had made things difficult for her and hunted her down—Phoenixes were among them. As a small grass spirit belonging to the Wood element, she was most vulnerable to Fire attributes. Besides the Nirvana Fire of the Phoenix Clan, the Immortal Flame of the Immortal Phoenix Clan had caused her immense suffering.
Although she did not understand why there was an Immortal Phoenix Clan in this dimension, her aversion reached its peak. She knew that they might not be connected to those from the Thirty-Six Heavens, yet resentment brewed within her—after all, Yue Qi had raised her himself; what good could come from that?

Mo Ran chuckled softly, his tone laced with implication. "I won’t go back on my word, but you haven’t proven yourself as my female yet."
Yun Zhi Yue gritted her teeth and tightened her embrace around the sturdy man. "You can touch me now."
In an instant, Mo Ran’s emerald eyes transformed with vertical pupils as he swiftly shifted forms and wrapped around her waist like a serpent from his clan. This speed was much faster than when they had arrived.
Once inside their small courtyard, Mo Ran carried her into a room on the left side.
Yun Zhi Yue was taken aback; since she arrived, she had always been in the right room. The left room still contained many Beast Skins, but unlike those haphazardly strewn in the right room, everything here was neatly arranged—clearly indicating that its owner had tidied up and had a penchant for cleanliness.
Before she could ponder further, she found herself pressed against a pristine Ru Xue animal hide. She couldn't tell what kind of animal it came from, but its soft texture was incredibly comfortable.
The only human clothing he wore was carelessly torn away in an instant.
