"Yun Zhi Yue! If you resist, you'll only bring about your own demise. What are you thinking? Quickly clear your mind and focus!"
Black cracks appeared on her fair skin, startling Yan Lue from the lustful haze he had just released.
Yun Zhi Yue's translucent tears rolled down her cheeks as she cried out in pain, "Your Majesty, my bones hurt so much. Am I going to die? It hurts so badly, why is it so painful?"
Yan Lue stared blankly at the increasing number of cracks on Yun Zhi Yue's body, as she gradually became engulfed by a dark mist. His fingers twitched, and a complete set of clothing appeared on Yun Zhi Yue. He formed intricate and profound seals with his fingers: Anshen.
As he channeled his celestial energy, a purple ethereal aura seeped from Yan Lue's body, suppressing the wounds that were slowly healing. Yun Zhi Yue's cries diminished, but Yan Lue's body swayed slightly.
The sky darkened with gathering clouds, and suddenly, a thunderous rumble echoed as if something was being held back from falling.
The Reincarnation Stone was stunned: "What kind of identity do these celestial beings have that makes the Small Dimension wary? It must be something of great importance; they could just swat us away!"
Yan Lue was clearly defying the rules of the Dimension with his magic. That purple ethereal energy emanated from his soul outward; even his Phoenix body could barely withstand it.
After calming Yun Zhi Yue, Yan Lue held the unconscious girl tightly in his arms, his expression darkening.
A thousand years ago, when he stripped her of her Xian Gu, it was a calculated decision on his part; everything was meant to proceed according to his plans. The only thing beyond his control was that his little grass had not been saved by anyone he arranged but had instead gone missing.
She was made from his essence; even if only a trace of her soul remained, he could still faintly sense her presence. He discovered that her soul fragments were scattered throughout the small Dimension and feared for her safety, which is why he followed her here.
But she was entangled with men in every realm—who were they?
With such resistance against him, would they ever return to how things once were? The delicate figure in his arms displayed pain and began to waver.
The scent of blood in the forest grew stronger as time passed; the number of dead beasts far exceeded those eliminated.
On the twentieth day, Chuan Jia and Jiu Xiong Di had three severely injured members among them.
In the end, they escorted everyone out of the competition area except for Chuan Yi, resulting in eight eliminations.
Chuan Jiu's arm was covered in blood from an injury inflicted by the Bear Clan.
He turned to Chuan Yi standing in the forest and said, "Big Brother, that Bear Tribe is treacherous; they injured you before. If you see any capable beasts from the Bear Tribe while cleaning up in the forest, be very careful."
"Of course," he continued. "If you have any strength left, make sure to beat them down hard. I can't say for sure if my arm will heal properly when I get back."
Chuan Yi reassured several brothers before heading deeper into the forest with Mo Li, Mo Ran, and Hou Yuan once again.
Though their actions were riskier with four people moving together, they also had greater mobility. Through their cooperation over these days, they had gained a solid understanding of each other's strengths.
The Individual Battle Monkey Yuan was the weakest among them, yet exceptionally alert; it was nearly impossible for enemies to hide from him. Mo Ran, with his strong attack power, and Chuan Yi, known for his high defense, made a formidable team. The four of them pushed their limits and managed to stick together until the final day.
However, that day turned out to be the bloodiest of all. All the surviving beastmen, each employing their own tactics to stay alive, had to rush from their hiding spots to reach the finish line. There was only one finish line, and it was clear that everyone would encounter each other there. Yet, the slots available were limited to just thirty, while the number of surviving beastmen far exceeded that.
When the time came, without any terrain to provide cover, chaos would ensue—an all-out scramble for survival as they fought to be among the first to reach the finish line.
