After dealing with Shen Chuan, summoning souls at night became much easier for her. She was Meng Po, and in the past, souls entering the underworld had to cross the Nai He Bridge. Summoning souls was merely a small task for her.

Ye Yao quickly chimed in, "Yun Zhi Yue, we locked up the shop. I heard my brother say you were looking for candles and didn’t want to miss out on the fun, so I came to see. Cang Jin was worried about me following along."
Yun Zhi Yue raised an eyebrow at Ye Zhi, whose eyes glowed red. "How have you been adjusting lately?"
"Pretty well," he replied.
"That's good to hear. In this world, the future will see a balance of power among vampires, werewolves, and humans. You are the first vampire of your kind and will be a leader of this group. You will have many responsibilities ahead."
Ye Zhi fell silent again at her words.
Yin Liangchen smirked. "It seems that even if the werewolves are wiped out, they will continue to exist. If there is a balance of power, there will inevitably be conflicting positions. My advice is to keep your distance from your sister; otherwise, her situation may become very difficult in the future."
Ye Yao scoffed. "I’m not afraid! If it comes down to it, just turn me into a vampire; I don’t want to be separated from my brother."
Yun Zhi Yue shook her head. "If you want to be transformed, it can only happen after everything is over—when Yun's Supermarket disappears—then I can set you free. Otherwise, you won’t be able to become a vampire."

The young girl’s face fell; she didn’t express any complaints. After all, the life she currently had was already something she had never dared to dream of before—how could she ask for more?

Yun Zhi Yue did not respond and quickly changed the subject. "Enough small talk; let's hurry and arrange the candles in a circle. We need to get serious."
Cang Jin and Ye Yao both felt tears welling up in their eyes. Just as they were about to ask something, they noticed that Shen Chuan appeared unfazed, calmly arranging the candles into a circle as if he were not concerned at all.
Yun Zhi Yue understood that it was not quite like that. Shen Chuan had simply made up his mind; he was indifferent to her feelings, and she was equally indifferent to his. What a fool he was.
The flickering candlelight surrounded them, with only Yun Zhi Yue and Ouyang Yan sitting cross-legged on the ground. In front of them lay a faded yet neatly folded Military Uniform.
