She was focused on efficiency and would never waste time on meaningless pleasantries. In her view, the mission in Abandoned Capital was urgent, leaving no time for idle chatter. Even so, Qin Luoxi did not forget her manners; after all, they were the ones seeking help, so it was only natural not to appear impatient.

"However, I must advise you against going there. It is a place where no human should linger. The dangers presented in the Military Academy's mission recommendations are merely superficial; what truly lurks within is beyond even my comprehension."
As Lu Yuansheng spoke of this, Lin Han clearly noticed him clenching his fists, perhaps out of frustration at his inability to help his son recover. If someone as powerful as Lu Yuansheng feared the dangers of Abandoned Capital, what hope did they have of completing such a daunting task?

Xue Wushuang said with a beaming smile, pride evident in his tone, almost making Lin Han believe that he was the one in charge of Dragon Tooth Squad.
However, Lu Yuansheng's subsequent response made Xue Wushuang wish he could dig a hole and bury himself.
"The Ice Lord? I seem to recall something about that. But are you certain it was you who killed it?" Lu Yuansheng looked at Xue Wushuang with skepticism, clearly doubting that this fellow resembled a powerful Beast Master.

Lin Han awkwardly cleared his throat twice and shot a fierce glare at Fat Cat before politely addressing Lu Yuansheng.
Seeing that persuasion was futile, Lu Yuansheng gave up as well. He had long been accustomed to such behavior from Military Academy students. Since they wanted to learn about the matters concerning Abandoned Capital, he might as well help them out.
