Listening to the words filled with admiration and longing for Qin Luoxi from the female students, Xue Wushuang's expression grew darker. The few girls in front of her were all quite attractive, each with distinct personalities and charm.

Her gaze lingered on Lin Han, who was grinning at her. "My Luo Xi really is a natural heartthrob. It hasn't even been long, and you already have admirers."
Hearing Lin Han tease her made Qin Luoxi's face flush slightly as she turned away, mumbling under her breath. "Who’s yours anyway?"
Lin Han noticed Qin Luoxi's little gesture and continued talking to himself.
"Notify the others in the squad to gather at the training ground this afternoon. We must secure victory in tomorrow's Freshman Competition."
Inside the Teaching Administration Building of the academy, a spacious office was filled with a melodic hum from a woman who was focused on the screen before her. The screen displayed a betting pool set up by the Merchant Guild of the academy, showing a total bet amount of four hundred thousand points.
A playful smile curved her lips as she crossed her long legs, leaning lazily against her office chair. This is going to be interesting.
Her smile widened, becoming more pronounced.
"Hey, you know that old man is going to scold you for this," a man's somewhat helpless voice suddenly echoed in the otherwise empty office.
"Oh, you're here? Just borrowing your office for a bit," the woman replied cheerfully, as if talking to herself.
From the shadows emerged a tall figure with striking features and a hint of mischief in his eyes—Wu Shijie.
"This is somewhat against the rules," Wu Shijie remarked, though his tone remained relaxed.
"What rules? I couldn't care less. It's that old man's promise; as long as I’m willing to come back, this academy is mine to play with," she said, expertly pulling out a pack of cigarettes from her desk and igniting one with her long, fair fingers.
"So, Wu Shijie already has someone he values?"
"Just wait and see. He'll be an interesting kid," Wu Qinghong replied, still wearing a subtle smile, her beautiful eyes sparkling with mischief.
