As night fell, the streets of London were illuminated by dim lights, and the ancient buildings appeared even more mysterious in the darkness. In a corner of this city, a dangerous transaction was about to take place.
Eric, a young member of The Vampire Family, was dressed in a black trench coat, hiding in the shadows with piercing eyes. He had silver long hair and deep-set eyes, exuding an aura of elegance mixed with coldness.
"Eric, are you sure this transaction won't have any problems?" A deep voice came from the shadows; it was Vincent, Eric's friend and family messenger.
"Vincent, we, The Vampire Family, never make unprepared deals," Eric said firmly and calmly. "This shipment is crucial for us, we must succeed."
As they were talking, a black carriage slowly approached and stopped in front of them. The carriage door opened, and a gentleman in a magnificent suit stepped out. His eyes were sharp, as if they could see into one's soul.
"Eric, I have brought the merchandise you requested," the gentleman's voice was deep and magnetic, "but what about my compensation?"
Eric smiled faintly and took out an exquisite wooden box from the inside pocket of his windbreaker. Gently opening it, he revealed a gem shimmering with a deep blue light. "This is the 'Heart of the Night,' possessing it will grant endless power to its owner," Eric's voice was full of temptation. "In exchange, your goods must be in perfect condition." A hint of greed flashed in the gentleman's eyes as he reached out to take the wooden box, carefully inspecting it before nodding in satisfaction.
"Very well, the goods are in the carriage," the gentleman turned and gestured for the coachman to open the door, "But before that, we need to discuss the security after the transaction."
Eric and Vincent exchanged a glance, both understanding the hidden danger behind this deal.
"We, The Vampire Family, never go back on our word," Eric said firmly, "But if you dare to betray us, the consequences will be unimaginable."
The gentleman smiled slightly, seemingly unconcerned with Eric's warning. He turned and walked towards the carriage, retrieving a large wooden box from inside. The box was intricately carved with complex patterns, exuding a mysterious aura.
"This is the merchandise you wanted," the gentleman's voice carried a hint of pride, "but before we proceed, we need to inspect the goods."
Eric nodded, signaling for Vincent to step forward and inspect. Vincent carefully opened the wooden box, revealing a shimmering long sword inside. The blade was engraved with ancient runes, as if containing boundless power.
"This is the 'Blood Oath Sword,' said to be wielded only by members of The Vampire Family," Vincent's voice carried a hint of excitement. "It is indeed the treasure we have been searching for."
Eric nodded, signaling that the trade could begin. The gentleman handed the wooden box to Eric and received the "Heart of the Night" in return. The trade between the two seemed simple, but behind it lay countless dangers and unknowns.
Just as the trade was about to be completed, a hurried sound of footsteps was heard. A group of soldiers holding torches suddenly appeared on the street, surrounding Eric and Vincent.
"Vampires! How dare you engage in illegal trading in London!" the leading officer shouted, "Hand over your goods and surrender!"
Eric and Vincent exchanged a determined glance. They knew that this trade had attracted unnecessary trouble. But as members of The Vampire Family, they never feared a challenge.
"Vincent, protect the goods," Eric's voice was low and resolute, "I will divert their attention."
Vincent nodded, tightly hugging the wooden box, ready to respond to any sudden situation. Meanwhile, Eric darted forward like a black shadow towards the soldiers. His speed was astonishing, as if a bolt of lightning streaked across the night sky.
The soldiers were caught off guard by Eric's sudden attack, and they raised torches and weapons to counter. However, Eric's speed and strength far exceeded their expectations. He effortlessly dodged their attacks while launching fierce counterattacks.
For a moment, the street was filled with the glow of fire and the interweaving of sword and blade. Eric relied on his exceptional strength and skill to handle the soldiers' siege with ease. However, he knew that this couldn't last. He had to find an opportunity to escape quickly while protecting the "Blood Oath Sword."
Just as Eric was caught in a fierce battle, Vincent suddenly shouted loudly, " Eric! Over here!" Eric looked in the direction of the sound and saw that Vincent had found a small path leading to a dark alley. With a swift movement, he dashed towards the alley. The soldiers, upon seeing this, hurried to chase after them, but Eric was too fast and they soon lost their target.
After successfully escaping with Vincent, the two quickly left the city area of London. They knew that their recent transaction had attracted official attention, and they had to find a safe place to hide the " Blood Oath Sword" as soon as possible.
In the wilderness far from the city, Eric and Vincent found an abandoned manor. The manor was overgrown with weeds, giving it a desolate and mysterious appearance. They decided to temporarily hide the "Blood Oath Sword" here, waiting for the right time to bring it back to the Vampire Family.
As night fell, the manor was quiet. Eric and Vincent stood on the ruins of the manor, looking at the city of London under the starry sky.
