A cold smile spread across the face of the Black Jiao Long. "What a wicked treasure for a divine beast to possess."
The Tiger scoffed, his demeanor stubborn. "As long as it enhances my power, what does it matter if it's evil?"
The Black Jiao Long's gaze turned icy. "Then I shall destroy this treasure of yours."
"Haha, such arrogance! You think you can?" the Tiger retorted, bursting into laughter.
Ignoring him, the Black Jiao Long shifted its attention to the surrounding spirits. Suddenly, its mouth opened wide.
A haunting chant echoed as a terrifying suction force emerged from the dragon's maw.
The spirits had no chance to resist and were drawn toward the dragon's mouth in a frenzy.
The Tiger was taken aback. "Damn it, stop! My spirits!"
He quickly shook the Wan Hun Banner, trying to pull the spirits back.
However, the terrifying suction held the spirits in place, pulling them apart with a force that tore many in half, scattering their essence into the void.
The Tiger's eyes widened in horror. "Damn it! I will kill you!"
His eyes turned crimson; these spirits were hard-earned.
He lunged at the Black Jiao Long, his sharp claws aimed at its eyes.
The Black Jiao Long remained still, and in an instant, a massive black tail appeared before the Tiger.
With a resounding crash, the tail struck the Tiger into the air.
The Tiger let out a pained roar as the blow landed on his abdomen.
He felt his insides shift violently, blood seeping from the corner of his mouth.
The Black Jiao Long's eyes gleamed as its body suddenly expanded to a hundred feet, its thick and terrifying Dragon Claw reaching out toward the Tiger's head.
Stunned from the impact, the Tiger barely had time to react before the Dragon Claw loomed above him.
He nearly died from fright and attempted to flee, but it was already too late.
In desperation, he shrank the Wan Hun Banner and positioned it above his head in an attempt to block the incoming strike.
With a sickening sound, the Dragon Claw collided with the Wan Hun Banner, tearing it apart in an instant.
The Dragon Claw descended with unrelenting force, aiming directly at the top of the tiger's head.
"Ah, it hurts!" the tiger cried out, clutching its head with both paws, letting out a chilling scream. At that moment, the crown of the tiger's head was torn open, blood mixed with brain matter oozing out.
The Black Jiao Long's gaze was icy as it flung away the tiger's crown and plunged its claws deep into the tiger's skull once more. With a vicious twist, not only did it turn the brain into mush, but it also shattered the tiger's soul into fragments.
The tiger's eyes flickered briefly with light before extinguishing completely, leaving behind an eerie stillness. Fear still lingered on its face; it had never anticipated meeting its end here.
With a thud, a massive tiger carcass plummeted from the sky. The tiger had now fully revealed its true form, its hundred-foot-long body resembling a small mountain.
The Black Mountain Old Demon and his companions had just finished off the last Yuan Shen Realm powerhouse when they stood there, dumbfounded, staring at the tiger's corpse.
Cui Pan's pupils constricted. "How long has it been? The Hei Jiao has already killed the tiger?" Even he lacked the confidence to take down such a formidable beast.
Lu Pan shivered at the thought. "Thank goodness I didn't offend him; otherwise, I wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully."
The Hei Jiao transformed back into human form and slowly descended onto the tiger's back.
The Black Mountain Old Demon instantly flew to Hei Jiao's side, excitement evident in his voice. "Brother, you are incredible! You killed the tiger so quickly!"
Hei Jiao smiled lightly. "His strength is average; not too impressive."
Lu Pan rolled his eyes. "You should listen to what you're saying. Not strong? He has survived the Heavenly Tribulation—he is a genuine Yao Xian."
Cui Pan's lips twitched slightly; he truly could not gauge Hei Jiao's strength anymore.
