"Is that so? Then I shall see for myself." Master Wu sneered, his sharp gaze sizing up Ding Yan, and without further ado, he made his move.
Although Master Wu had only achieved the level of Inner Energy mastery, dealing with the currently intoxicated Ding Yan was still an easy task. However, his hand had yet to touch Ding Yan when a powerful force, seemingly coming from nowhere, struck him. It felt as if a massive steel pendulum had slammed into him, sending him flying uncontrollably. Fortunately, the door was open; otherwise, he would have surely smashed through it.
This bizarre scene unfolded too suddenly for anyone to react. By the time Zhao Hun and the others regained their senses, Master Wu was already lying in the corridor outside, unconscious.
"Did you injure Master Wu?" Zhao Hun was no fool. At that moment, in the room, besides Ding Yan, only Jiang Chen remained. He turned to Jiang Chen and asked in a low voice.
"Did you not hear what Ding Yan said? He told you to get lost. If you don't leave, I'll make you leave." Jiang Chen sat casually in his chair, holding a wine glass, speaking with an air of indifference.
"I didn't expect you to be a Martial Artist as well. But do you know Master Wu's background? He is a disciple of Elder Liang, a martial arts giant on Hong Kong Island. Elder Liang's status in the martial arts community there is unparalleled. Given your age, you would barely qualify as Elder Liang's grandson. You injured Elder Liang's disciple; I wonder how you'll explain this to him. One word from Elder Liang could make it impossible for you to survive in Huaxia Martial Arts." Zhao Hun said coldly.
"Are you done talking?" Jiang Chen interjected, his tone still calm.
"Don't think I'm joking. You better apologize to Master Wu right now; otherwise, you'll regret it." Zhao Hun felt emboldened by Master Wu's backing but was unaware that he had just hit a solid wall.
"Get lost." With a wave of his hand, Jiang Chen sent Zhao Hun flying out as well.
"You... just wait! I want to see how you withstand Elder Liang's wrath. You won't be able to survive in Huaxia Martial Arts from now on." Zhao Hun struggled to get up after being thrown aside and shouted at Jiang Chen.
Jiang Chen ignored Zhao Hun and glanced at the bodyguards. "Aren't you all leaving? Do you really want me to take action?"
The bodyguards quickly took the hint and filed out one by one. If even Master Wu couldn't handle this young man, they would only be walking into their own deaths by joining forces against him.
The bodyguards carried Zhao Hun and Master Wu away while Ding Yan returned to his room to sleep.
Yelina paced back and forth at home, worried that her daughter might be hurt. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, she finally received a call saying that Zhao Hun had been taken to the hospital.
The hospital where Zhao Hun was admitted was the same one where Ding Shaowen had been taken. The doctors were puzzled as to why two wealthy individuals from Aodao ended up in the hospital on the same night. Given their injuries, it appeared they had been beaten up—could it be that they fought each other?
Master Wu regained consciousness in the hospital and erupted in fury, vowing to kill Jiang Chen.
"Master Wu, that young man can injure people from a distance. Could he be what your Martial Arts World refers to as a Master of Transformation?" Zhao Hun asked. Although he was not a Martial Artist himself, being a wealthy individual from Aodao meant he had some understanding of martial arts.
Many traditions from Huaxia were flourishing on Hong Kong Island; martial arts and feng shui mysticism thrived there. In this not-so-large place lay hidden talents; nine out of ten Feng Shui Masters from Huaxia were found on Hong Kong Island.
