“Jingzhu, this is Jiang Chen!” Just as Lin Jingzhu felt awkward, a foreign man with a baseball cap and fair skin approached her and asked. Jiang Chen knew that in her past life, Lin Jingzhu had married this foreigner named Mark.

But since I’ve encountered him, I’ll let Jingzhu compare us properly so she won’t keep thinking about this Jiang Chen,” Mark thought to himself as he cast a sidelong glance at Jiang Chen. Although he wore a friendly smile on his face, his mind was already plotting how to deal with Jiang Chen.
“Senior, this is Jingzhu’s boyfriend Jiang Chen! Jingzhu often mentions how impressive he is!” Zhou Xuemei quickly chimed in. Being straightforward and boisterous, she made it hard for the gentle Lin Jingzhu to speak up.
“Ha ha, indeed impressive; an ordinary person can actually make Jingzhu like him. It’s clear he’s quite different,” Mark said with a smirk.
“Don’t listen to Zhou Xuemei’s nonsense; Jiang Chen and I are just high school classmates,” Lin Jingzhu explained quickly. If she didn’t clarify, Zhou Xuemei would surely keep talking. Fortunately, Lin Jingzhu hadn’t told her about being childhood sweethearts with Jiang Chen; she only mentioned they were classmates.
“Jingzhu, I’m Zhou Xuemei! Not nonsense; you clearly like…” Zhou Xuemei tried to continue but fell silent when she noticed Lin Jingzhu glaring at her.
“Everyone take your seats quickly; we’re about to set sail,” called out a staff member on the cruise ship.
Lin Jingzhu and the others then hurriedly found their seats and sat down.
