You can even gain their perspective, like having a little spy out there gathering information for you. If you happen to faint or die, you can come back to life using the avatar's identity. Plus, the avatar has a bit of its own consciousness and can help you complete tasks."
Ling Xue's eyes sparkled with excitement as she said to the system, "Hey, what if I make the avatar take on Ling Yu's appearance and go to school for me? That would be amazing! I’d have someone handling school matters for me while also adding an extra layer of protection. Wow, it’s like having an extra life!"
The system responded with a chuckle, "Hehe, host, that’s a great idea! But you need to keep an eye on the avatar’s situation; don’t let it cause any trouble."
Ling Xue looked at the avatar now resembling Ling Yu and said seriously, "From now on, you’ll go to school in my place. Pay attention in class, don’t cause any trouble, and adapt to any issues that arise. If anything special happens, report back to me immediately."
The avatar of Ling Yu blinked playfully and replied, "Don’t worry, Master! I will complete the mission perfectly."
Ling Na called Ling Xue on the phone, her voice filled with excitement. "Xue Xue, guess what? The company has been running really well lately! We’ve made quite a profit this month!"
Ling Xue smiled while lounging on the sofa and replied, "That’s great! It seems everyone is working hard."
Ling Na continued, "Yes! All the departments are cooperating really well. I think if this keeps up, our company will definitely keep growing."
Ling Xue nodded in agreement. "Then you should reward everyone to boost morale."
Ling Na laughed and said, "Don’t worry; I’m already thinking of ways to do that. By the way, what have you been up to lately?"
Ling Xue glanced at the children playing nearby and said, "I’ve just been at home spending time with the kids and relaxing."
Suddenly recalling the detective agency from earlier, Ling Na turned to Ling Xue and suggested, "Xue Xue, do you remember that detective agency? I think if you don’t have anything else going on right now, maybe you could check it out. There might be tasks that fit the system’s needs."
Ling Xue furrowed her brow slightly and pondered for a moment before responding, "Hmm, that’s actually a good suggestion. But do you really think that detective agency will have tasks suitable for the system?"
Ling Na answered confidently, "It’s worth checking out since you’re free anyway. You might discover something unexpected!"
Ling Xue nodded in agreement. "Alright, I’ll find a suitable time to go there."
She pushed open the slightly worn door of the Xue Na Detective Agency. With a creak, she stepped inside. As soon as she entered, she could feel the emptiness of the place; it was almost deserted. The furniture was arranged neatly but covered with a thin layer of dust—clearly indicating it hadn’t been maintained for some time. On the walls hung faded photographs of past cases that had long since lost their vibrancy.
Hou Kang was lazily lounging in a chair with his legs crossed high and casually flipping through a magazine that had clearly seen better days. Hearing the door open, he looked up and was momentarily surprised to see Ling Xue before straightening up and greeting her with a smile. "Hey, Ling Xue! What a rare visitor! What brings you here today?"
