I spoke calmly to the mysterious person. After hearing this, he immediately scolded me, saying that my disobedience was a very bad sign and that I would pay for it. But I didn't listen; I just wanted to see Kang Qin.
Then he agreed and told me to wait. After about an hour, he sent me another video. The location in the video was a room where Kang Qin was tied up in a chair, appearing on my phone screen.

Kang Qin shouted at the phone, tears streaming down her face. I could only stare at the scene presented on the screen. It had already been several days; was Kang Qin still tied up in a chair?
Her clothes were clean, but there was a small red stain on her collar.

The man on the other side obediently stopped and said to me, "Kid, remember this: it's only because you're being obedient that I'm not doing anything. But if you really don't listen... well, don't forget what we told you before. It will be quite the spectacle."
With that, they hung up the video call. I took a deep breath. Damn it, this world is not simple at all; everyone seems far more complicated than they appear.
But what should I do now? I can't just let them manipulate me like this. I need to prepare myself, but where should I start? I'm completely in the dark about the current situation.
