Inside the Imperial Study, Su Qianxue looked at Yan Dong in shock. "What do you mean? Che Chengyun has been... castrated?"
Yan Dong nodded and recounted the events once more. "Before we left, the doctor managed to save Che Chengyun! It seems his life is secure now. Your Majesty, how about we grant a favor to Langya Wangfu?"
Su Qianxue stared at Yan Dong in disbelief and asked, "What kind of favor?"
"Let’s invite Che Chengyun to the palace as your personal eunuch. What do you think?" Yan Dong said earnestly.
Su Qianxue burst into laughter, spitting out the Lotus Seed Porridge she had just drunk. She couldn't stop giggling.

Mu Jinkun and the Ninth Princess exchanged glances in disbelief; they hadn't expected such a surprise in the latter half of the night. Hong Qianjun's eyes widened as he exclaimed, "A prince of the royal family just got castrated like that?"
