The evening breeze was gentle, and the beach was becoming increasingly lively. Jiang Chen sat on a nearby bench, watching the night sky as everyone busied themselves with barbecuing. Mark had calmed down a bit, which contributed to the harmonious atmosphere. The grilled food was ready, and everyone eagerly offered Jiang Chen the first taste before serving Mark, which only fueled Mark's dissatisfaction. 0

Suddenly, Lin Jingzhu exclaimed and clutched her head. A soccer ball had come out of nowhere and hit her squarely, nearly toppling the barbecue grill. 0

"Who did that?" Zhou Xuemei picked up the ball and looked around. 0

"Give me back my soccer ball!" A teenager rushed over, scowling as he shouted at Zhou Xuemei. 0

"You little brat, how rude! Apologize to this lady; your soccer ball hit her," Zhou Xuemei said, seeing he was just a kid and not wanting to escalate things further. 0

"So what if it hit her? Just give me my ball back; this is my dad's territory," the boy retorted, clearly spoiled and with a bad attitude. 0

"Hey, you really have no manners at all! Apologize right now; if you don't, you can forget about your soccer ball," Zhou Xuemei replied angrily. 0

"Fine! You’ll regret this; I’m going to tell my dad!" the boy shouted before storming off to find his father. 0

"Zhou Xuemei, he's just a kid; there's no need to argue with him. Just give him back the ball to avoid trouble," Lin Jingzhu advised. 0

"He’s old enough to know better. Acting so entitled without any upbringing! When his father comes, I hope he teaches him a lesson," Zhou Xuemei remained upset. 0

Kids can be cute sometimes, but they can also be infuriating. The earlier incident with that boy showed just how lacking in manners he was. 0

A minute later, the boy returned with several companions: a middle-aged couple and a few young men in beach shorts covered in tattoos. The young men clearly had a tough demeanor about them. The middle-aged man had an intimidating appearance, dressed in a floral shirt that revealed tattoos on his chest, while the woman beside him was voluptuous and attractive but had a harsh expression filled with anger. 0

"Who said my son has no upbringing?" the middle-aged woman demanded as soon as she arrived. 0

It was evident these people were not to be trifled with. Zhou Xuemei hadn’t anticipated that the boy’s parents would be so formidable, and she felt intimidated. 0

"That’s her!" the boy pointed at Zhou Xuemei. 0

"You have some nerve! Who do you think you are to criticize my son? If you want him to apologize, you better check whose territory this is first. You kneel down and apologize to my son, and we’ll let this go; otherwise, none of you will have it easy," the woman said sharply and domineeringly. 0

"Auntie, I didn’t mean any harm; your son accidentally kicked it at someone," Zhou Xuemei said weakly, feeling overwhelmed by their presence. 0

"So what if he kicked it? Are you still not satisfied?" the woman scoffed coldly. 0

Faced with such unreasonable people, Zhou Xuemei felt helpless. Mark took a deep breath; it was time for him to step up and make his presence known. 0

"Ahem, it’s just a misunderstanding. May I ask if you are members of the Azure Green Society?" Mark interjected confidently, maintaining an air of composure. 0

"You foreigner, your Huaxia language is quite good, and you even know about the Azure Green Society. You have some insight. Since you are aware of our identity, why don't you hurry up and apologize?" The woman sneered. 0
