Ding Yan stood up and strode towards the young man with her long legs.
"What do you want?" The middle-aged man noticed the hostility in her approach and his expression grew serious.
"I'm here to discipline your son for free. You should thank me," Ding Yan replied with a smile, dismissing the group of men around him as insignificant.
"I think you're looking for trouble," the middle-aged man said, waving his hand. The thugs beside him cracked their knuckles and moved forward.
These thugs were heavily tattooed and had fierce looks, clearly accustomed to fighting, while Ding Yan was just a tall, attractive woman.
Zhou Xuemei and the others couldn't help but feel worried.
But soon, they were left speechless as Ding Yan demonstrated her impressive martial arts skills, taking down the thugs in less than thirty seconds.
"Who are you? You actually know how to fight? I underestimated you, but do you know this is my territory? If you dare to hurt my son, I guarantee you'll never leave Hong Kong Island," the middle-aged man said, a hint of fear creeping into his heart. Who would have thought that a woman like Ding Yan could be so formidable?
"Is that so?" Ding Yan replied with a faint smile as she approached the young man.
The middle-aged couple shielded their son behind them, but they were no match for Ding Yan either; she easily kicked them aside.
With a loud slap, Ding Yan struck the young man across the face and coldly scolded him, "Unruly brat, apologize!"
"I won't apologize! Mom, Dad, hurry up and call Sister Lin!" The young man stubbornly shouted back.
Seeing their son slapped, the middle-aged couple was furious. For years, they had relied on the reputation of the Azure Green Society to dominate Hong Kong Island, never expecting to be humiliated on their own turf today. This was a bitter pill to swallow.
"I advise you to stop now. If Miss Lin arrives later, you're as good as dead. She hates it when someone makes trouble in her territory; you've touched her sore spot," the young man's mother said through gritted teeth.
Ding Yan ignored her warning and kicked the young man's knee, causing him to buckle and fall to the sand.
Ding Yan was not one to show mercy; seeing that he still refused to back down, she pressed his head down to force him to bow while applying pressure on his pressure points, causing him pain and making him scream out.
"Still not apologizing?" Ding Yan sneered.
"I—I apologize! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" The young man finally relented.
Watching their son being bullied filled his parents with anguish, but they were powerless against Ding Yan and could only wait for reinforcements.
"Son, I've already called Miss Lin; she'll be here soon. Just hold on a little longer; once she arrives, she'll definitely avenge you," the young boy's mother reassured him.
Seeing the young man apologize, Ding Yan turned to Lin Jingzhu and asked, "Miss Jiang, have you forgiven him?"
"Forgiven, forgiven, just let him go. After all, he's just a child; it wouldn't be good to hurt him," Lin Jingzhu said kindly.
"He won't be hurt, but he needs to learn a lesson. Alright, since Miss Jiang has forgiven you, let's leave it at that," Ding Yan replied, releasing the boy casually.
"Dad, Mom, my back hurts so much!" the boy cried as he crawled to his parents.
"Don't worry. When Miss Lin arrives, I'll make sure you get back at them a hundredfold for the pain you've suffered," the boy's mother said fiercely.
Ding Yan ignored them and returned to Jiang Chen's side.
At that moment, Mark, Zhou Xuemei, and the others were somewhat dumbfounded. It took them a while to process what had happened, and Mark's face turned pale with anger.
