"Dreams are, in fact, a form of reality. However, this time I can clearly tell you that you are not dreaming." The Puppet Man began to shake his legs, which resembled two thin sticks, emaciated and devoid of flesh. 0

"You have retrieved the dagger. In reality, no one can find it anymore, nor will anyone deliver it to the police, so you are free from trouble." 0

"Oh," Lu Jin replied, his mind still in a state of confusion. He tried to accept this fact from another angle, but no matter how he attempted to process it, Lu Jin felt he could not comprehend it; everything was simply too incredible. 0

"You need not worry. I told you, I am here to help you. I see you have been gloomy; is there something troubling you?" The Puppet Man suddenly laughed, causing Lu Jin's heart to twitch involuntarily. 0

The Puppet Man continued, "No matter the situation, nothing is absolute. You always have a chance to change things. Do you... want to change?" 0

As the Puppet Man finished speaking, a dark aura flickered in his eyes. 0

A dense and alluring Black Sphere appeared in the Puppet Man's hand. 0

The night was quiet as Lu Jin passed through the black sphere and arrived at the building where his company was located. This world had taken on more colors; it was no longer just black and white. The corridor of the building was surprisingly silent, with dim yellow moonlight spilling in like a layer of indistinct mist. Lu Jin steadied himself and quickly locked onto his target. 0

He opened the door, and darkness enveloped him as expected. Lu Jin sniffed the air and detected a faint metallic scent of blood. He pushed aside his concerns; he knew that retrieving his objective would allow him to return to reality. 0

Lu Jin sat down and powered on the computer at his desk, which was protected by a password program. He swiftly decoded it, his fingers flying across the keyboard. The normally soft tapping sounds took on an eerie and chilling quality in the empty silence of the building. 0

Suddenly, a sharp scratching noise pierced through the stillness. Lu Jin's hands froze as he looked up to see a pale white mark appearing on the office window glass as if drawn by an unseen hand. The scratch traced a circular path. 0

Though he had been focused solely on cracking the password, curiosity now piqued within him. He stared intently at the window; the scratch continued its motion, adding strokes to the original circular pattern until they gradually formed a face. 0

Lu Jin stared at the face, the one etched onto the glass. He saw the eyes suddenly move, rolling and locking onto him. Startled, Lu Jin recalled what the Puppet Man had said: during the disassembly of time, anything could happen. He hurried back to his seat and began to rapidly crack the password. 0

The password was complex, and Lu Jin gritted his teeth in frustration. Unconsciously, he glanced up at the glass again, only to find that the face had vanished. 0

Confused, Lu Jin returned his gaze to his work, but then he caught a glimpse of a face formed by scratches on the glass coffee table in the office, now twice the size of the previous one. He noticed a strange smile gradually appearing at the corners of its mouth. 0

His hand resting on the desk began to tremble uncontrollably as fear surged back like a tidal wave. Unable to resist, Lu Jin looked up again, but the face on the coffee table had disappeared once more. 0

Where did it go? 0

He scanned the office but found nothing. Had he imagined it? Lowering his head, he was met with a face staring back at him from the desk, its size now twice that of his own. The round eyes fixed intently on him. The mouth opened, and a wave of bloodiness hit him—the same metallic scent he had sensed before. Lu Jin shut his eyes, silently battling an overwhelming fear. 0

The password was cracked. Lu Jin quickly executed the program he needed to manipulate. The face on the desk began to transform again, slowly rising from its surface as its foul-smelling mouth drew closer to him. 0

Cold sweat dripped from Lu Jin's forehead, but he knew that if he abandoned this operation now, he would truly be giving up his life. Gritting his teeth, he held firm. 0

The face nearly detached from the table, hovering in mid-air just inches from Lu Jin's cheek. Suddenly, a tongue shot out, covered in barbs that hooked into Lu Jin's skin. As they retracted, blood gushed from his face; almost half of it was torn away in an instant, an unbearable pain sweeping over him. 0

Finally free from the table, the face laughed maniacally in mid-air as its tongue curled toward Lu Jin. The sharp barbs glistened with blood as they reflected in his pupils—a vivid red. 0

In his last moments, Lu Jin looked at the computer screen; the program was set. 0
