Ying Ziyi was taken aback; she hadn't expected Ancestor Ye to see through her constitution so easily. Taking a deep breath, she suppressed the turmoil within her heart.
Ye Xingchen continued: "Since you two have mutual feelings for each other, I will not obstruct you. The Qin Dynasty is in the past; one must look forward."
Though brief, these words carried profound meaning. Ying Ziyi was perceptive enough to understand that this was Ancestor Ye subtly hinting for her to abandon her plans of restoring the Qin State.
Ying Ziyi lowered her head slightly, her voice carrying a hint of determination. "Rest assured, Senior. Once the Qin State is destroyed, I will have no other thoughts; all I want is to be with Brother Ye Tian."
Ye Xingchen nodded in satisfaction upon hearing this. "Good. Since it's our first meeting, I won't be too stingy."
As he spoke, he took out a pill from his sleeve and handed it to Ying Ziyi. This item was called the Imperial Extreme Pill, which could elevate one’s cultivation by a small realm without any side effects for those at the Imperial Realm, and it had even stronger effects for those below that level.
