With a chilling sound of tearing flesh, Will's left arm was severed in an instant by an irresistible force. The wound was a gruesome mess, blood gushing out like a fountain, splattering onto the ground and forming a shocking pool of crimson.
It wasn't until the severed arm fell heavily to the ground that Will finally felt the piercing agony. His eyes widened in terror and disbelief, and then he gripped the remaining stump of his arm tightly, letting out a heart-wrenching wail of pain: "My arm! Oh! My arm!"
Just then, a deep voice filled with regret suddenly spoke up, "I’m sorry, Master. Beastman Garuru has arrived late; please forgive me."
Everyone turned to see that the speaker was none other than the pink ball they had encountered before. However, it was no longer the ordinary slime they once knew; this seemingly inconspicuous little creature was actually a Bunny Beast from the world of Digimon, and it had evolved into its juvenile form, Beastman Garurumon.
After ten long years of careful nurturing, this once-innocent Bunny Beast had endured countless brutal battles against various figures within its territory and had faced fierce monsters in life-and-death struggles.
Through repeated tests of mortality and the baptism of blood and fire, what now stood before everyone was the newly evolved form: Beastman Garuru!
At the same time, not far behind Beastman Garuru's towering figure, two mysterious silhouettes could be seen standing quietly, like ghosts in the night, giving off an air of unfathomable depth.
Annie had no complex thoughts at that moment; all she wanted was to be saved. Recalling the heart-stopping scene from earlier, she couldn't bear to think about how she would face John if something truly terrible had happened.
"No, your timing is perfect," Annie said softly.
Meanwhile, a servant was carefully administering a healing potion to Master. After a while, Master slowly stood up but still wobbled unsteadily. He struggled to walk toward Beastman Garuru.
"Thank goodness you arrived in time; otherwise, even if I were to atone with my life, it would be difficult to make up for my mistakes!" Master said with a face full of guilt.
"It's nothing; protecting you is my duty," Beastman Garuru replied as he reached out his massive hand and easily grasped Will's head, who was still moaning in pain. Then he lowered his voice and asked Master, "What should we do with this person?"
Annie glanced at Will and felt troubled. After all, Will was from a noble's territory, making him quite tricky to deal with. After pondering for a moment, she suggested, "How about we temporarily imprison him?"
"Yes, that works too. I will go capture everyone who came with Will outside and wait for your return to make a decision," Beastman Garuru said before turning around without hesitation and heading outside.
