To completely fell a tree, one must wait for it to collapse entirely before finally cutting down the tree trunk. With these tools in hand, he envisioned that he would not need to replace his iron pickaxe for quite some time. Even if the tools' Durability decreased, they could be repaired using the Iron Anvil.
