"Go lie down and see how it feels," Yun Yi suggested.
Guan Yu nodded and walked toward the bed. The moment he stepped onto it, he couldn't help but marvel at how the wool carpet felt as if soft wool was gently wrapping around his feet, making him feel as though he were floating on a cloud. When he touched the mattress, its soft and elastic texture surprised him even more.
As soon as he sat down, Guan Yu's eyes lit up; he thought to himself that even an emperor might not have enjoyed such comfortable bedding. "Your Highness, this bed is truly wonderful."
Yun Yi nodded slightly. "As long as you're comfortable, rest easy. If you need anything, just come find me." With that, he left the room, gently closing the door behind him.
Looking up at the starry night sky above, Yun Yi had no intention of going to bed just yet; instead, he prepared to tackle the various matters that lay ahead. He mentally listed out plans for housing construction, bathroom design renovations, overall improvements to Zhao Family Village, digging underground tunnels connecting Xinghua Village and Zhao Family Village, and expanding underground spaces. The weight of these tasks felt heavy on his shoulders.
Returning to the bottom level of the villa, he sifted through a pile of boxes and selected some wood and iron blocks before heading to the underwater elevator. Preparing tools was always essential for work efficiency.
Before him lay an important project: acquiring enough building materials—stone blocks. He still needed more stone blocks. Who would have thought that what was often seen as useless in the game would be so indispensable in reality?

However, this time, Yun Yi had no intention of further excavating within Granite; his goal was to dig deeper. Not just a regular excavation, but a continuous effort to reach the depths where he could see Magma.
At first, he considered finding an active volcano for this digging project. After all, there was indeed Magma hidden beneath the surface, but it could be located very deep within the mantle, just below the Moho Discontinuity. The distance from the surface to the Moho Discontinuity was roughly around a kilometer. Even in areas where the crust was thinner, such as in the deep sea, this distance was usually close to a kilometer.
This meant that if he were unlucky and there was no direct path to the Magma here, he would have to dig at least a kilometer underground, equivalent to a depth of thirty-three thousand meters, before he might encounter Magma. Such excavation would require an immense amount of effort.
He planned to adopt a straight vertical digging method, excavating chambers that were each one meter in length and width—just enough for a person to pass through. Even so, he would need to use a considerable amount of iron picks. However, in reality, this method was impractical due to the extremely narrow space, making it difficult even to turn around.
