A month later, I started my new job at the client company of Original Company, attending an industry launch event as the product manager. 0

Before I even entered the venue, I ran into some familiar faces—Wu Zhifeng and Zhang Yuanliang from Original Company. 0

"Well, if it isn't Li Siyue?" Zhang Yuanliang raised his eyebrows dramatically. "I heard you went to a competing company?" 0

I smiled and remained silent. 0

"The speed of outsourcing plagiarism is impressive; they can churn out a version in just two weeks," Wu Zhifeng boasted. 0

"Your user research is way too slow," I replied. 0

Zhang Yuanliang chimed in, "Exactly! Our efficiency has improved significantly. We don't even need to copy ourselves; we just hire an outsourcing team." 0

I noticed their weary expressions. 0

Zhang Yuanliang's suit looked wrinkled, and Wu Zhifeng had darker bags under his eyes than when I left. 0

"Li Siyue, if you're smart, you won't go in there. You won't last long at your new company," Zhang Yuanliang blocked the entrance to the venue. 0

I maintained my smile and waited quietly. 0

Sure enough, the Investor Representative soon appeared in the hallway. 0

Seeing this scene, their expressions were complicated. 0

"What product are you planning to launch today?" the Investor Representative asked me as they approached. 0

"A truly user-centered product," I replied with a smile. 0

Zhang Yuanliang and Wu Zhifeng's expressions instantly darkened. 0

"I look forward to your presentation," the Investor Representative said, gently nodding and ignoring the obstruction from Wu Zhifeng and Zhang Yuanliang. 0

I calmly walked past them towards the podium. 0

"How can you let her take the stage!" Wu Zhifeng shouted from behind. 0

"Because she deserves it," the Investor Representative said coolly. 0

Standing on stage, I looked out at my colleagues from the Original Company, who were staring in shock. 0

Wu Zhifeng and Zhang Yuanliang were frozen in place, clearly taken aback by this moment. 0

"Li Siyue has actually become the product lead for a competing company?" someone whispered. 0

I adjusted the microphone and scanned the audience. 0

"Good afternoon, everyone. I am the newly appointed product lead for the unicorn company T Company." 0

"Today, I will be showcasing a product that truly addresses user pain points." 0

The Investor Representative sat in the front row, his eyes sparkling with approval. 0

Wu Zhifeng and Zhang Yuanliang's faces grew increasingly grim. 0

"Before we begin," I paused. 0

"Let's first take a look at how users are evaluating similar products currently on the market." 0

I opened the PowerPoint presentation. "There is a company whose product has serious architectural flaws." 0

Technical expert Zhang Gong stood up, pointing to the data on the screen. "The backend architecture of this product is completely unreasonable, with numerous security vulnerabilities." 0

I continued, "What’s even more interesting is that 90% of this company's product was developed by outsourced teams. And..." 0

I paused for effect. "A large amount of the code has been plagiarized from other companies." 0

A wave of murmurs swept through the audience. 0

"Li Siyue! What are you talking about?" Wu Zhifeng finally couldn't hold back and stood up. 0

"Talking nonsense?" I laughed. "Then may I ask, how does your company plan its product development?" 0

Zhang Yuanliang stammered, "We have complete..." 0

"Complete what? Outsourcing documents?" I interrupted him. 0

Wu Zhifeng hurriedly tried to smooth things over. "This question should be answered by Product Director Zhang Yuanliang." 0

Pushed to the forefront, Zhang Yuanliang struggled to articulate a single coherent sentence. 0

"Let me tell everyone," I said as I opened another document. 0

"This is the complete investigation report, including all evidence of plagiarism, outsourcing contracts, and... some interesting financial transaction records." 0

Wu Zhifeng's face turned pale. 0

"As professionals in the industry, we all know that product quality and user experience are fundamental," I surveyed the room. "Yet some individuals, in their pursuit of quick profits, are willing to trample on these principles." 0

I took out a lawyer's letter. "We have gathered complete evidence of these violations. Relevant authorities will soon intervene in the investigation." 0

Wu Zhifeng panicked. "What do you want to do?" 0

"Nothing," I replied with a smile. 0

"I'm just reminding everyone here that there are always a few bad apples in the industry, obsessed with plagiarism and taking shortcuts. These individuals will eventually pay the price." 0

The room fell silent. 0

"By the way," I closed my laptop, "I forgot to mention one thing." 0

Everyone turned to look at me. 0

"Your funding may be in jeopardy." 0
