"Let's take it one step at a time. Alright, no more talking about this. Let's sleep. We've walked all day and I'm exhausted. We need to recharge for tomorrow; we're going to Disneyland," Lin Jingzhu said, unwilling to say more as she burrowed into her blanket.
Zhou Xuemei, feeling helpless, could only remain silent.
The night was deep, but Lin Jingzhu and Zhou Xuemei found it hard to fall asleep. Especially Mark, who was in his room, feeling frantic and restless after being severely humiliated by Jiang Chen that day. Moreover, he now had to abandon his infatuation with Lin Jingzhu; both Jiang Chen and Lin Rumei knew her, and he dared not offend Jiang Chen again. Yet, he still felt unconvinced.
The night passed without a word. The next morning, soft rays of sunlight streamed into the room as Jiang Chen stood on the balcony, gazing out at the sea.
After a while, Lin Rumei personally brought breakfast. Jiang Chen called Lin Jingzhu, inviting her to join him for breakfast.
After they finished eating, Lin Jingzhu and her classmates continued their sightseeing, while Jiang Chen did not join them.
"Miss Lin, I heard that there is a Feng Shui Master on Hong Kong Island named Gu Yun Nan. Do you know him?" Jiang Chen asked.
"Master Gu is a giant in our Hong Kong Island Feng Shui Community, renowned and a guest of honor in elite circles. However, Master Gu has been living a semi-reclusive life in recent years and rarely makes appearances. The last time he showed up was at a Feng Shui exchange five years ago. Mr. Jiang, do you want to meet Master Gu?" Lin Rumei replied.
"Miss Lin must know where Gu Yun Nan lives," Jiang Chen smiled.
"Well, I really don’t know. I used to hear that Master Gu lived in a villa near Repulse Bay, but now I've heard he has moved elsewhere. After all, so many people seek him out for Feng Shui advice every day; naturally, Master Gu doesn't want others to know his address now that he’s semi-reclusive. If you want to meet Master Gu, you first need to meet his disciples. Mr. Jiang, would you like me to take you to see Master Gu's disciples?" Lin Rumei suggested.
"That sounds good," Jiang Chen nodded.
Since the Five Element Spirit Orbs were in Gu Yun Nan's hands, Jiang Chen naturally planned to approach the situation with courtesy first. If Gu Yun Nan was willing to give him the Five Element Spirit Orbs, Jiang Chen would not treat him poorly in return.
"I'll make the call now," Lin Rumei said as she stood up and walked aside with her phone.
After a while, Lin Rumei hung up and approached Jiang Chen. "Mr. Jiang, I just asked Master Gu's disciple. They said there will be a Feng Shui Ritual tomorrow afternoon at Eight Immortals Ridge; we can go see it then."
"What kind of Feng Shui Ritual?" Jiang Chen inquired.
"I'm not too sure about that; I usually don't pay attention to matters of the Feng Shui Community. But I can find out more later," Lin Rumei replied.
"That's fine; we'll know when we go tomorrow," Jiang Chen said without pressing further.
"By the way, Mr. Jiang, there's one more thing. My dad called me this morning and said that tonight Sang Ming from Qing Yi Gang has invited our martial arts giant Elder Liang from Hong Kong Island as support. I really don't understand how Elder Liang ended up with Sang Ming and them. With Elder Liang helping Sang Ming, this is quite unfavorable for us," Lin Rumei expressed with concern.
Elder Liang had made a name for himself on Hong Kong Island decades ago; although he was now elderly, he remained the top martial artist there. She had initially felt confident with Jiang Chen backing her up for tonight's Hongmen Banquet but was now worried due to Elder Liang's sudden involvement.
