The figure outside the door made everyone gasp in shock. Li Zhenghao himself had come in person, dressed in a black suit, and the scar on his face appeared particularly menacing under the dim light.
"What's wrong? Am I not welcome?" Li Zhenghao sneered as he walked into the conference room, exuding a chilling aura that seemed ready to swallow everyone present.
Park Bucheng narrowed his eyes, alarm bells ringing in his mind. Damn it, this old fox has come down to the field himself; it looks like things are getting serious tonight! He quickly scanned the situation in the conference room: Lee Jae-hoon from the Li Family Consortium sat on the left side, looking like a frightened quail; Park Sung-il and his subordinates occupied the right side, each one eager for a fight; while Li Zhenghao blocked the entrance like a guardian deity, cutting off all avenues of escape. It was clear he intended to trap them all!
A chill ran from Park Bucheng's feet to the top of his head, but he maintained a nonchalant smile on his face. "Boss Li, your presence here truly surprises me," he said with a hint of sarcasm, as if completely unaware of the impending danger.
Li Zhenghao ignored his mocking tone and walked straight to the conference table, slamming his palm down with a loud bang. "Park Bucheng, you've been quite arrogant lately. Not only do you dare to investigate matters concerning the Li Family Consortium, but you also have the audacity to touch my people. Do you really think I'm dead?"
"Oh? Is Boss Li here to defend the Li Family Consortium?" Park Bucheng sneered. "Or is it that you have some unspeakable dealings with them?"
These words detonated like a bomb, instantly igniting the tense atmosphere in the conference room. Li Zhenghao's expression darkened, a barely perceptible glint of murderous intent flashing in his eyes.
At that critical moment, Park Bucheng keenly sensed something amiss. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught sight of a shadow flitting past outside the window, and alarm bells rang in his mind. Damn it, these bastards really have people lying in wait outside! He feigned calmness and stood up, scanning every person present with piercing eyes. "Since everyone is here, let's speak frankly. I can give you what you want. But..." He deliberately elongated his tone, a wicked smile curling at the corners of his mouth. "It depends on whether you have what it takes to take it!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the glass windows of the conference room suddenly shattered. Dozens of men in black burst through like ferocious beasts, their gleaming blades reflecting cold light. At the same time, a large group of thugs armed with clubs surged into the room, surrounding it completely.
"Attack!" With Li Zhenghao's command, the conference room instantly transformed into a hellish battleground.
Everything unfolded just as Park Bucheng had anticipated. He leaped back just in time to dodge a swinging machete and shouted, "Brothers, stick to the plan!"
His team members were well-prepared and quickly dispersed like arrows shot from bows, engaging fiercely with the black-clad thugs in combat.
Park Bucheng executed the Graceful Wave Steps, moving like a ghost among his enemies. Each strike was as swift as lightning, accurately hitting vital points.
"Bang!" A burly man was sent flying by his palm, crashing heavily against the wall with a dull thud. Park Bucheng's Tianshan Six Yang Palm was incredibly powerful, each blow infused with searing internal energy that left his foes no chance to evade.
Li Zhenghao's expression changed drastically upon witnessing this. He had not expected Park Bucheng's skills to be so formidable, leaving him momentarily at a loss.
"Boss Li, what's wrong? Is this all you've got? Aren't you going to come down and have some fun?" Park Bucheng taunted while dodging attacks. His Graceful Wave Steps had reached an extraordinary level, allowing him to glide effortlessly between enemies like a slippery eel, impossible to catch.
Li Zhenghao was infuriated by his contemptuous attitude and roared in anger as he personally joined the fray. He lunged at Park Bucheng with a swift step, his fists cutting through the air with a fierce killing intent.
Unfazed, Park Bucheng activated his Graceful Wave Steps and easily evaded Li Zhenghao's assault. "Is this your best? Daring to show off in front of me?" A mocking smile curled at the corners of his mouth, as if ridiculing Li Zhenghao's overconfidence.
Li Zhenghao's fury intensified at Park Bucheng's disdainful demeanor, and he unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks like a rainstorm. Yet every strike was effortlessly neutralized by Park Bucheng, as if he were merely batting away cotton—completely ineffective.
"My turn begins now!" Park Bucheng suddenly halted, positioning his hands in an unusual stance. A powerful surge of internal energy coursed through him, filling the air with a scorching aura.
"Dragon Subduing Eighteen Palms!"
With a thunderous shout, Park Bucheng unleashed a palm strike that crashed toward Li Zhenghao like an unstoppable tide. This blow concentrated all of his strength and was immensely powerful. Although Li Zhenghao managed to block it in time, he was still sent flying by the force, landing heavily on the ground and spitting blood.
"Boss!" Park Sung-il exclaimed in shock and rushed forward. However, he was immediately stopped by Park Bucheng's subordinates as he took a step.
Lee Jae-hoon sensed danger and turned to flee. But just as he reached the door, he found himself confronted by a group of police officers who had been lying in wait.
“Mr. Lee Jae-hoon, we have gathered enough evidence. Please come with us,” the lead officer said expressionlessly.
It turned out that Park Bucheng had already notified the police, waiting for these individuals to walk right into the trap. The evidence of Li Zhenghao and Lee Jae-hoon colluding was quietly resting in the police evidence room at that moment.
“You…” Li Zhenghao lay on the ground, looking at Park Bucheng in disbelief, his eyes filled with resentment and anger.
Park Bucheng looked down at him, his gaze filled with mockery. “Boss Li, this is where you went wrong. You’re still too inexperienced for underhanded tactics.”
Just then, an unexpected figure appeared at the door, freezing everyone's expressions...
