The old lady reached out and took Li Guyu from the other person.
After struggling for a while and feeling exhausted, Li Guyu calmed down immediately when held by someone else.
"See! You have to hold her like this." The old lady gently patted him, her soft Jiangnan accent filling his ears.
"Look at how she looks! So ugly!" The old lady said as she sat down with Li Guyu in her arms.
Li Guyu closed his eyes and quickly sorted through everything that had just happened. He had just been reborn as a baby—how did he end up here? Not long ago, he was still on a business trip with that woman, enjoying life. How could he have come out as a child after just running around Naihe Bridge?
Li Guyu felt an overwhelming frustration rising within him and couldn't help but curse under his breath.
The sound that filled her ears was still the sound of crying.
