Returning from Shi Tian's place, Shi Ye and the others had not slept. Instead, they had dug out a gas stove, cooking pots, and other outdoor cooking gear. 0

After tasting the meal prepared by Shi Tian, they felt that future fishing trips would be much more comfortable. With Shi Tian’s cooking skills, they decided to take him along for fishing trips, allowing him to handle their meals so they wouldn’t have to rely on instant noodles and compressed biscuits anymore. 0

This idea was proposed by Lu Ya. He had thought of it when he invited Shi Tian to go fishing. On the way back, he shared it with Shi Ye and Air Force One, who immediately supported the plan with enthusiasm. Thus, they went to the storage room to gather their equipment. 0

Even if they were only planning to cook instant noodles and eat biscuits, they still needed sufficient outdoor cooking supplies. Spending extended periods outdoors meant that once their bottled water ran out, they would inevitably need to boil water; these items were essential. 0

They found pots, bowls, and utensils, and realized that a tent and tarp were also necessary. After some hustle and bustle, they worked until three in the morning. 0

Checking the time, they realized there was no point in sleeping for just two hours before setting off. So they decided to stay awake, packed their gear, and called Shi Tian. The group then headed to his yard with their equipment. 0

Upon receiving Shi Ye's call, Shi Tian regretted agreeing to go fishing with them today. For just two fish, they had started this commotion in the middle of the night—were these people crazy? 0

But since he had promised, there was no choice but to get up! 0

After a quick wash-up, he took some vegetables from the fridge, washed and chopped them into pieces, and packed them into convenient bags. He could already hear the sound of a car starting downstairs. 0

Finding a box, he packed up the spices from his home and carried it downstairs. 0

“Just grab a few ingredients; we’re only having one meal there! Why are you bringing so much?” Shi Ye said with a hint of exasperation as he watched Shi Tian come out with a large box. 0

The dinner last night was quite lavish; there was no need to eat again before heading out. They planned to have one meal on the mountain before descending before dark. 0

“I’m only bringing enough ingredients for one meal; most of this is just spices. These spices are in bulk packaging and take up quite a bit of space. Let’s put these in the car first; I still need to go back for a stove and pot; otherwise, we won’t be able to cook!” 0

Salt, sugar, and MSG were all in a small spice box, but items like cooking wine and oyster sauce came in large bottles. Shi Tian didn’t have time to find smaller containers for them now; he could only bring everything along. 0

Having just ingredients and spices wouldn’t suffice for cooking; he also needed to bring the stove and pot. The small gas stove used last night was on the first floor; he needed to grab a frying pan too along with the gas canister. Shi Tian felt that his gear was almost ready. 0

“Let’s hurry up and get in the car! We can make do with the outdoor stove; bringing too much stuff up the mountain isn’t convenient!” Dragging Shi Tian into the car, Shi Ye pressed down on the accelerator, and they sped off. 0

Two minutes later, Shi Ye parked the car. The group donned their headlamps and carried their gear out through a small gate at the back of the neighborhood as they made their way up the mountain. 0

Yanse Lake was located directly north of their neighborhood. After climbing for a while and crossing a ridge, it would take another ten minutes or so to reach it. 0

It made sense that if Yanse Lake were directly north of their neighborhood where rainfall was heavy, any flooding could wash away the entire neighborhood into Hai Li. 0

“What’s this lake called? Why isn’t it on the map?” Looking over his map again without finding any trace of this lake puzzled Shi Tian as he turned to Air Force One beside him. 0

At this question from Shi Tian, Air Force One paused for a moment before responding: “You’re right! Ye Ge, Lu Ya, we should name this lake!” 0

The three had been working hard for years because of this lake; they had raised fish in it but hadn’t even named it yet. 0

“Let’s call it Lure Lake! Today I brought my Lei Qiang Rod; I’m sure we’ll catch some Giant Fish!” Before Shi Ye could speak up, Lu Ya jumped in eagerly. 0

Yesterday, he thought there were no big fish in this lake and only brought a Ma Kou rod. The Ma Kou rod is soft and short, suitable for close-range fishing, and the line is thin, making it impossible to haul in a big catch. Seeing Shi Ye and Air Force reeling in three to four-pound Big Carps, Lu Ya decided to bring his Lei Qiang Rod today. He was confident that even if he hooked a fish weighing thirty or forty pounds, he could pull it in! 0

Before Lu Ya could finish his sentence, Shi Ye interjected, retorting, "With your skills of catching Bai Tiao every day, do you really think you can call this place Lure Lake? It should be named Da Gui Lake instead!" 0

After mocking Lu Ya, Shi Ye stood on the ridge, gazing at the lake's surface. After a moment of contemplation, he said, "This lake resembles a crescent moon, like a Giant Blue stretching over a thousand meters. How about we call it Giant Azure Lake?" 0

The Azure Catfish is a favorite among freshwater anglers. This fish is large and powerful, providing an exhilarating fight when hooked. If one could catch a thirty or forty-pound Azure Catfish, it would be enough to boast about for years. 0

Shi Ye's comment nearly left the three of them speechless. Calling it Giant Azure Lake would be better off as Giant Fish Lake! There are plenty of other fish in this lake besides Azure Catfish; it wouldn’t make sense to name it after just one species! 0

As they bantered back and forth by the lakeside, they finally reached a consensus: they would name it Xinyue Lake. The name was proposed by Air Force, who took on the task of beautifying the lakeside to ensure the name could be used. He planned to clear an area for planting shrubs and to build a gazebo. Most importantly, he wanted to lay down grass along the path leading to the lake so that anyone lying on it wouldn't feel uncomfortable. 0

Today they were going to fish at Xinyue Lake. With too much gear and a small raft, Lu Ya stayed behind with Shi Tian by the lakeside while Shi Ye took the equipment over with Air Force before returning to pick them up. 0

The water at Xinyue Lake was very clear and cool—at least four or five degrees cooler than the water down in the valley. Perhaps it was due to the early morning chill. 0

When Shi Ye arrived at the Fishing Spot with Shi Tian and Lu Ya, Air Force had cleared an area about four or five meters from the lakeshore where they set up their gear. 0

The group hurriedly constructed their campsite before heading out to establish the Fishing Spot. Shi Tian didn’t know much about these things; he could help with setting up camp but could only stand by and hand over tools for building the Fishing Spot. 0

Shi Ye and Air Force were both Taiwanese fishermen, each setting up their own Fishing Spots. Lu Ya was still using Lures today; he didn’t need to set up a Fishing Spot originally, but since Shi Tian didn’t know how to do it, Lu Ya had to step in. 0

To ensure Shi Tian had a good experience fishing, Lu Ya worked diligently. What Shi Tian didn’t know was that this Fishing Spot originally belonged to Lu Ya; before descending from the mountain yesterday, they had heavily baited this spot but now had to relinquish it! 0

While constructing the Fishing Spot and teaching Shi Tian how to find the bottom and adjust his float, Lu Ya confirmed that Shi Tian could swim. He then took out a three-meter-six short rod from his Rod Bag and tied a Loss Prevention Rope for Shi Tian before turning his attention back to his Lure setup. 0

They hadn’t fished in Xinyue Lake before and weren’t sure if they should use Chang Gan or short rods. A three-meter-six rod was relatively short; since it was early morning and fish were near the shore, equipping Shi Tian with this rod would allow him to have fun even if there weren’t any big fish around—catching a bunch of Little White Strips would keep him entertained for half the day. 0

Sitting on the Fishing Platform, Shi Tian pulled out a convenient bag filled with earthworms dug up while setting up camp earlier. He selected an appropriate worm, hooked it on, and with a flick of his wrist, cast his Fish Hook into the water. He watched as the luminous float slowly rose before gradually sinking beneath the surface. 0
