Looking at the Iso Rod in Shi Ye's hands, the old man shook his head without saying a word. He had done far more than Shi Ye when it came to snatching rods, so he naturally felt no shame in commenting on Shi Ye's actions. 0

However, when Shi Tian saw the rod in Shi Ye's possession, he was immediately dumbfounded. Just a couple of days ago, he had caught a thirty-six-pound Longfin Grouper with that rod and hadn’t used it since, leaving it in his car. Now that the rod was in Shi Ye's hands, there was no point in him saying anything; even if he did, he wouldn’t be able to get it back! Fortunately, he hadn’t planned on going reef fishing anytime soon anyway. If Shi Ye wanted to use it, so be it; it was better than letting it gather dust in his car. 0

Not long after Shi Ye returned, Air Force and Lu Ya came back as well. They had gone out late and returned empty-handed. Aside from the Iso Rod, Shi Tian’s trunk contained only a two-meter-seven short rod that they had dug out from Shi Ye’s storage room—something they would surely look down upon! 0

“Xiao Tian, you can’t play favorites like this! They already have rods, and I haven’t even had a chance to hold one!” Lu Ya complained as soon as they entered the third floor. 0

The old man had an Iso Rod and a Five Meter Four Hand Rod, and just earlier had snatched a Customized Rod. Now Shi Ye also had an Iso Rod along with a Seven Point Two Chang Gan; he was well-equipped enough. 0

Air Force was the worst off, with only a two-meter-seven short rod. However, he wasn’t worried; even if he managed to get a good rod now, it would still end up in the old man’s hands. 0

Lu Ya was in dire straits—no Hand Rod and no Iso Rod. If there were any at all, it would only be a few Fish Hooks meant for catching Xiao Yu’s Sleeve Hook! 0

In response to Lu Ya’s complaints, Shi Tian could only shrug helplessly. “I can’t help it! I’m still using that two-meter-seven short rod I found in Ye Ge’s warehouse! But I’m not in a hurry; once my Fishing Tackle Shop opens and I stock up on supplies, I’ll be able to choose whatever rod I want!” 0

Hearing this, Air Force’s eyes lit up as he exchanged glances with Shi Ye and Lu Ya; they instantly understood each other! 0

Opening a Fishing Tackle Shop wasn’t too difficult. Shi Tian had already found a place; once he signed the lease, he could get the business license on the same day with the rental contract in hand. 0

Renovation would also be simple; the shop didn’t need anything too fancy. A few coats of paint inside and out, some shelves and tanks set up, and two light boxes would be enough to start operations—all could be done within three days! 0

Once the Fishing Tackle Shop opened, Shi Tian would have to stock up! Once stocked, wouldn’t they be able to take whatever they wanted? When they went shopping, Shi Tian couldn’t possibly stop them! 0

After dinner, Air Force and Lu Ya drove the old man home while Shi Ye stayed at Shi Tian’s place. 0

“Where have you decided to open your Fishing Tackle Shop? I can help you strategize!” Shi Ye asked as he settled onto the sofa for the night. 0

With such strong winds outside, there was no way anyone could go out without a heavy-duty off-road vehicle. Air Force and the others had already taken their cars; there was no way Shi Ye would be foolish enough to brave the storm alone! 0

“I’ve already contacted the landlord for a place at the southernmost part of Anyou Town. Once the typhoon passes, I’ll go sign the contract!” As he spoke, Shi Tian pulled out his phone and opened a rental website to show Shi Ye. 0

There were five storefronts lined up together over two floors with separate staircases. Although it was located behind some buildings, having a back door made it convenient enough. 0

Shi Tian had chosen the southernmost storefront; this was also the southernmost shop in town. Beyond that lay Liudao Bay with several fishing docks along the coast—though there were more wild beaches and rocky shores making it a paradise for sea fishers. 0

This location was quite remote on the outskirts of town. However, it suited Shi Tian perfectly for opening his Fishing Tackle Shop since there would be no shortage of fishermen passing through on their way to Liudao Bay. 0

“Do you have enough money to rent this place?” After confirming which storefront Shi Tian intended to rent, Shi Ye reclined on the sofa and asked him a question that made Shi Tian feel most troubled. 0

Yun Wan'er was quite strict with Shi Tian regarding his finances. Although Shi Tian had some pocket money, he certainly lacked substantial funds, and this was something Shi Ye understood clearly. 0

"Not yet! I still haven't settled the rent!" With a sigh, Shi Tian continued, "I plan to have Lao Shi customize a rod for me to exchange for some startup capital." 0

Shi Chui had money, and given his obsession with fishing, it shouldn't be a problem for him to support Shi Tian with tens of thousands as long as he received a rod. 0

Hoping to get money from Yun Wan'er seemed unlikely. She was still thinking about how to get him to return home to inherit the family fortune; if she heard he wanted to start a business, it would be surprising if she were willing to part with any cash! 0

Shi Chui was different. If he were given a rod to taste the sweetness of it, once he experienced its excellence, it would be much easier for Shi Tian to fish for money from him. 0

By gifting Shi Chui a rod without Shi Tian needing to mention it, Shi Chui would undoubtedly want more rods; at the very least, he would want a complete set! When the time came, if Shi Tian played the poor card, hoping to gather a full set of rods, Shi Chui's pockets would surely open up for him. This plan was practically foolproof! 0

Upon hearing that Shi Tian intended to give Shi Chui a customized rod, Shi Ye's face immediately fell. He quickly interjected, "You're in Sanya now; aren't you under my care? If you need money, just tell me! What do you need Lao Shi for?" 0

"What do you think Lao Shi will think if you ask him for money? And what about your sister-in-law? Won't they think I'm mistreating you? That I can't even provide for your basic needs?" 0

"I've already helped you rent a place! Once the storm calms down, we'll go together so you won't get cheated!" 0

At this point, Shi Ye added, "You need to pay attention to the customized rods. I need one set for Air Force and another for the old man; I also need one for myself. Lu Ya should get one too! Can these fishing rods be customized in such a short time? We need to leave in less than two weeks; we can't change our plans just because we're waiting on some fishing rods!" 0

"Having just hand rods isn't enough; can your friend make sea fishing rods? The kind used for catching tuna! If so, please have him make me a set of sea fishing rods!" 0

Upon hearing "sea fishing rods," Shi Tian was somewhat taken aback. He had heard of them but had never seen one. 0

"Sea fishing rods? I've never done sea fishing! I've never seen those kinds of rods and don't know if they can even be produced! Even if they can be made, I estimate it would take a long time—definitely not something that could be produced in a week or two!" 0

Shi Tian hadn't really paid attention in the fishing box to whether there were sea fishing rods available. However, he knew that sea fishing rod prices weren't cheap; they started at several thousand and could go up into the tens of thousands—not something an average person could afford. 0

Rolling his eyes at Shi Tian, Shi Ye thought for a moment and said, "Once the house is rented, we’ll need a few days for renovations. During that time, I'll take you out on the sea so you can see what big fish really look like!" 0

Catching fish out at sea is vastly different from fishing by the shore. This area near Nan You is rich in yellowfin tuna and attracts many fishing enthusiasts every year. 0

A trip out to sea costs quite a bit; aside from equipment expenses, just renting a boat alone could cost around forty or fifty thousand. Even if split among ten people and adding other expenses, it would still amount to five or six thousand each—assuming everyone had their own gear. 0

If someone didn’t have equipment and needed to rent it as well, that could add hundreds or even thousands more. If they didn’t catch any decent-sized fish, they might not even recoup their costs. 0

After two days of strong winds that began to die down despite the heavy rain still falling, Shi Ye dragged Shi Tian out to finalize the house rental. Holding the rental contract in hand, Lu Ya arranged for renovations while Air Force took Shi Tian to handle various procedures. 0
