Returning to the villa, he took a shower and went to bed, knowing he had to wake up early the next morning. The Fishing Tackle Shop was set to open today, and the old man along with Shi Ye would be there to show their support. The old man even boasted about giving him the first purchase, which made Shi Tian shudder with fear. 0

The old man's generosity was not something to be taken lightly. Tomorrow, he would be heading back to Beijing, and if he were to give each of his old fishing buddies a rod, it wouldn’t even be enough to clear out the inventory of his shop. 0

Early the next morning, just as the sun began to rise, Shi Tian was woken up on time by a call from the old man. Shi Tian had promised them that their custom fishing rods would arrive before the shop opened, and the old man probably hadn’t slept a wink last night in anticipation. 0

After getting up and freshening up, he found that breakfast was already laid out in the courtyard by the old man and his friends. Carrying four wooden boxes downstairs, Shi Tian didn’t even have a chance to speak before the eager four quickly took the boxes from him. 0

These wooden boxes were specially made and had consumed quite a bit of Golden Silk Nanmu, which was provided by the old man. Without it, clearing out his savings wouldn’t have been enough to create even these four boxes. Golden Silk Nanmu was lightweight and easy to carry while also preventing insect damage, making it perfect for packaging these rods. 0

Opening the boxes revealed a lineup of rods ranging from two meters to eight meters in length. There was also an Iso Rod inside, but the wheel was not included; it was kept separately in a bag along with the Abo and hooks that Shi Tian carried. 0

Each rod came with three sets of line setups in addition to the hooks, which were essential. Shi Tian had lost count of how many hooks he had packed for them; he estimated they wouldn’t run out for at least two or three years. 0

To use these custom rods effectively, they needed to be paired with these line setups and hooks; otherwise, their performance would be significantly compromised. He hadn’t packed too many line setups—just three sets for each rod—and he had also included several meters of fishing line in various diameters. When they ran out, he would provide more. 0

After handing over the line setups and wheels to the four men, Shi Tian quickly sat down for breakfast. To ensure a successful opening, he had checked the almanac and found that seven to nine o'clock was an auspicious time; he needed to take advantage of this timing! 0

As Shi Tian ate his breakfast, he watched them carefully take out each rod only to put them back again with great care. Shi Ye picked up one rod and attached a line setup; as he raised his hand, the hook fell into Shi Tian's swimming pool. 0

“Ye Ge! There are no fish in this pool!” Shi Tian reminded him somewhat helplessly after swallowing a mouthful of fried dough stick. 0

“My eyes aren’t blind; I’m just practicing my float adjustment! But Xiao Tian, such a big pool and you haven’t swum in it much—what a waste! Should I have someone put some fish in there for you?” 0

“Fish in the pool? Can they survive?” Shi Tian questioned skeptically. 0

In this pool where you all jump in wearing clothes every day? And you’re thinking of raising fish? That’s pushing it a bit too far! 0

Fish need food; they not only eat but also produce waste. If you put a few fish in there, within half a month this pool will be ruined! 0

“Ye Ge, I suggest you stick to being human!” Shi Tian said with a sigh as he scratched his head. 0

“Xiao Tian, hurry up and eat! We need to get ready for the Fishing Tackle Shop opening soon! It’s almost seven!” Seeing Shi Ye practicing his float adjustment by the poolside, the old man pulled out a four-and-a-half-meter rod and started playing with it after attaching a line setup. 0

“Aren’t you all having breakfast? There are five servings on the table; aside from me having one, what about the other four?” 0

No one paid any attention to him regarding breakfast. By the poolside, four rods stood neatly aligned as if dozens of giant fish were swimming beneath them. 0

“This rod has incredible sensitivity; I can feel even the vibrations from the lead weight touching bottom! I think I could catch fish without even looking at my float!” The four men had completely ignored Shi Tian’s presence as they gathered together discussing their rods excitedly. 0

Having had hands-on experience, one naturally understands the intricacies involved. When fishing with just a line, it’s easy to feel the fish biting or bumping against the line. However, adding a Fishing Rod absorbs that tactile sensation due to its elasticity. The Customized Rod can detect fish bites or line bumps while maintaining flexibility and high strength, a feature that no other Fishing Rod on the market possesses. 0

Adjusting the float is a fundamental skill for any Fisherman. With no fish in the pool and after a short while, everyone lost their patience. "Let’s not eat here; we can have breakfast on the way and not miss the auspicious opening time!" Shi Ye said to Shi Tian as he packed up the Fishing Rod and placed it into the Golden Silk Nanmu Box prepared for them, dragging Shi Tian along toward the Fishing Tackle Shop. 0

Everyone knew there was an ocean in front of the Fishing Tackle Shop. Lu Ya had specifically arranged for some renovations when setting up the shop, pouring concrete to create a row of Fishing Spots across the street. Now they were heading there to bless their Fishing Rods. 0

Once in the car, Shi Ye drove while Shi Tian skipped breakfast and pulled out his phone to send a message in their group chat. 0

"Shi Tian: Xing Xing Fishing Tackle Shop opens today! All customers will receive a complimentary Line Setup!" 0

As the shop opened, Shi Tian didn’t expect many people to show up. He just wanted to offer some benefits to his helpers; if he could attract a few people to gather some popularity, he could afford to give away a Line Setup! 0

After sending out the opening announcement, Shi Tian tagged Chang Guadi and a few others. He had previously given them Fish Hooks that caused them to lose their main line Float. He had promised them that once the Fishing Tackle Shop opened, he would provide them with a new Line Setup, and now it was time to fulfill that promise! 0

Shi Ye parked in front of the shop, and as they got out of the car, Shi Tian was taken aback by what he saw: two rows of fishing baskets set up at the entrance, each with eight pairs. 0

Shi Tian was certain that these baskets weren’t there when he left last night; they must have been delivered this morning. "Did you buy these baskets?" he quietly asked Air Force beside him. 0

"We didn’t buy them; we rented them. Someone will come to take these baskets away in three days!" Air Force chuckled as he patted Shi Tian on the shoulder. 0

"You can rent these things? It’s already tough enough to open a shop, and you send me rented baskets? That’s just too casual!" Shi Tian rolled his eyes at Air Force in exasperation. 0

Whether the baskets were rented or bought didn’t matter much to Shi Tian; what mattered was the thought behind it. Buying one pair of baskets costs one; renting one pair costs two! These things can’t be eaten or drunk; after a few days, they’ll be forgotten. In three days, someone will come to collect them so you won’t have to deal with them yourself—see? 0
