The girls from Africa, a few of them are simply beyond their reach. Aside from those from Madas, who are mostly of Asian descent, the girls from other places do not meet their aesthetic standards and are not to their taste.
Before heading out, it’s important to let off some steam; after all, it won’t be until a few months later that they’ll have another chance. It’s too long to just rely on manual solutions!
The Wind Man is eager for excitement, but Shi Tian won’t dampen the mood; he has enough sense for that.
"My shop just opened today, and I can't close it to go out tomorrow. That’s not acceptable! You all go ahead and have fun! I’m a good kid who should stay home and watch the store!" Shi Tian said earnestly.
Playing on an island to the east? What islands are there to the east? Wild Boar Island? Wuzhizhou? It’s probably Wuzhizhou!
Going to Wuzhizhou means having to drive a boat yourself. Are they planning a yacht party? It sounds tempting, but thinking about it again, it’s too extravagant for someone like him!
Shi Tian didn’t say anything, nor did Air Force. It’s better this way; it saves them from feeling awkward if they can’t enjoy themselves. Originally, he wanted to create some mischief by watching Shi Ye and Shi Tian make fools of themselves, but it seems he’ll have to wait for another opportunity.
After coming out of the pool, Shi Ye approached Shi Tian with two shopping bags in hand and tossed the items into Shi Tian's arms.
"Here are the documents for your house and some paperwork. You need to keep these safe," he said. "This package contains the Trademark that your father and Air Force helped you get registered. There are some other things as well. Tomorrow I’ll have someone bring over a safe so you can lock these up; losing them would be a hassle!"
The house is now under Shi Tian's name, but normally it takes two or three months to receive the property deed. It was somewhat unexpected for Shi Tian to receive the deed and necessary documents so quickly.
With the property deed in hand and the Trademark secured, Shi Tian knew they had used connections; this favor was quite significant.
What was said earlier sounded good; once the Customized Rod is in hand, the Trademark can be registered. It seems this Trademark must have been registered long ago; perhaps his father didn’t give it to him just to save face.
"Jun Ge, you and your father really pulled through! Isn’t there supposed to be a three-month public notice period for Trademark applications? How did it come through so quickly?" After flipping through the Trademark documents, Shi Tian grinned foolishly for a moment before turning to ask Air Force.
"The public notice is there to prevent conflicts with existing Trademarks. If I were handling it, there would definitely be a three-month notice period. But since your father intervened and checked against the Trademark database for conflicts, it got approved!"
After taking a sip of his drink, Air Force said casually before standing up: "I need to get up early tomorrow to send your father back to Beijing! I booked him on the earliest flight; I’m going to rest now. You all should get ready too; prepare what you need for tomorrow!"
As soon as Air Force finished speaking, Shi Ye stared at him in disbelief: "The earliest flight? The one at six forty? Are you out of your mind? Can your father handle such an early wake-up call at his age?"
The earliest flight from Sanya to Beijing leaves at six forty in the morning, which means they need to be at the airport before six. Getting up, washing up, having breakfast, and then rushing from here to the airport means that old man has to wake up at four thirty! No wonder Shi Ye called Air Force reckless!
"I originally planned to book him on the nine o'clock flight," Air Force explained. "But he insisted on changing it to the earliest one because he wants me to take him fishing with his old buddies before the fish goes bad!"
Air Force felt helpless about his father's insistence. If his father wakes up at four o'clock, then he has to wake up at four too—this is really taking a toll on him!
Hearing this made everyone realize that this wasn’t just about showing off his fishing skills; it was also about flaunting his Fishing Rod!
At this point, Air Force turned to Shi Tian: "You shouldn’t just lie around here; come with me to the Fishing Tackle Shop. Your father wants me to pick out some Rods for his old buddies; let’s grab a few sets from my store!"
It was almost midnight—going to pick up Rods from the Fishing Tackle Shop? Upon hearing this, Shi Tian decisively shook his head and tossed Air Force the keys: "Here are the keys to the shop; don’t bother going now. Just get some sleep! You can pick them up on your way tomorrow morning."
The shop had three or four sets of Hand Rods in stock at the counter, but the Finished Line Sets were all gone; they had been completely sent out today. I decided to let the old man use what he had on hand for now, and once the next shipment arrived, I would mail him a few more sets. There were plenty of Pin Gou available, so he could take a few extra.
I originally thought that today the old man would only need one net of shrimp to get started, and that would be the end of it. However, it seemed that wouldn’t be the case after all; it looked like I would have to restock again soon!
After taking the keys, Air Force casually stuffed them into his pocket and turned around to go to sleep. This was probably for the best; it saved him from any more hassle. Otherwise, if he came back and had to pick out Rods again, it would take at least an hour, and he wouldn’t get any sleep tonight!
Not sleeping tonight was a minor issue; he could handle that. But tomorrow he had to set sail for a trip, and those two rascals, Shi Ye and Lu Ya, definitely wouldn’t help him with the boat. After staying up all night and then sailing for most of the day, would he even have the energy to enjoy himself?
After sending a few people off, Shi Tian hurried upstairs and pulled out his phone to check the Points in his Fishing Box. He wasn’t sure if the old man could clear out his Fishing Tackle Shop tomorrow, but it was likely that there wouldn’t be any Hand Rods left. Most of what was sold and sent out today were Line Sets and Fish Hooks, which didn’t need restocking. Tomorrow, without sending any more Line Sets, the shop's inventory should still be sufficient.
However, restocking Rods required a significant amount of Points, and he wondered if the Points he accumulated today would be enough to complete a set!
When he opened the Points section, he saw two thousand eight hundred—finally reaching a four-digit status! Earning two thousand Points in one day was somewhat lower compared to before the storm, but Shi Tian was quite satisfied with it.
If an average person caught ten fish a day, that meant at least two people must have used his Hooks today. Besides the warm batch sent out today, at least one person must have fished with the Fish Hooks sent earlier; that usage rate was pretty high!
Shi Tian didn’t expect any mercy from the old man regarding the Hand Rods. With over two thousand Points available, aside from the two-meter-one and two-meter-seven models, he could afford one set of each of the others. The remaining Points were dangerously close to dipping into double digits.
The Lure Rod that Lu Ya took would definitely not be restocked tomorrow; it all depended on how many Points could be earned by then! It seemed unlikely that one day would be enough to cover the deficit for Lure Rods.
As Fishing Boxes manufactured Fishing Rods, Shi Tian began reviewing today’s shipping records and income.
