The store has two payment systems. One is the Individual Business System, which allows a maximum single transaction of fifty thousand. This amount is subject to tax, but currently, most tax payments are not based on revenue but rather on an annual package.
The other payment system is the Small and Micro Enterprise Payment System, which requires enterprise tax and allows a maximum single transaction of one hundred thousand. If the transaction volume increases, one can apply for a higher limit, with no restrictions on the maximum amount. This system is rarely used because the funds go into the enterprise account and then need to be transferred to a personal account, incurring additional taxes. Unless there are large orders, Shi Tian would definitely avoid using it.
This arrangement was facilitated by the Air Force, and he was well aware of it. On the day of opening, they all used this system, each scanning five times, while Lu Ya even scanned twice, with the second transaction covering the cost of a Customized Rod.
Although this amount was significant, it made Shi Tian wince! If you want to give a Red Envelope, why not just withdraw some cash from the bank and put it in an actual Red Envelope? After scanning, with taxes deducted twice, there wasn’t much left in hand!
With the enterprise account set aside, Shi Tian decided to lock it up in the store tomorrow and no longer use it! Checking his individual account revealed that he barely reached four digits, which left him feeling quite frustrated.
Chang Guadi tested some fishing lines, prompting a group of people to buy a large quantity of them; this turned out to be his biggest income so far. The rest of the transactions ranged from one dollar fifty to over ten dollars. The only sale exceeding fifty was when a Fishing Buddy bought a pound of shrimp, claiming he wanted to stir-fry them—did he really think this was a farmer's market?
Having over a thousand dollars in income wasn’t bad; at least he wouldn’t have to worry about sending money for bait tomorrow. He decided to take things slow! With the lines sent out, the next step would be buying rods!
Once the rods were finished, Shi Tian carried them down to the underground garage and loaded them into the trunk of his Electric Mini. Heading upstairs, he intended to set his alarm but discovered that his phone's main screen had been taken over by Rogue Software again.
The Rogue Software had previously occupied his main screen but later moved to the last screen as he created more Fishing Gear with his Fishing Box—perhaps it felt that the main screen’s feng shui was off and decided to relocate. Now it reappeared on the main screen and locked it again; Shi Tian found himself feeling somewhat excited.
Last time when it locked the main screen, it opened up the Fishing Menu and rewarded him with a Fishing Box, which led him to decide to make a living selling Fishing Rods and open his Fishing Tackle Shop.
Now that his Fishing Tackle Shop had just opened, was Rogue Software planning another surprise? Would there be another treasure-hunting adventure tonight?
He quickly tapped on Rogue Software; beside Yu Zi appeared a new menu named Nong Zi. However, before accessing Nong Zi, he had to close a pop-up window that appeared on the screen.
Looking at the pop-up displaying Sculpting Body and Bone, Shi Tian felt a sense of déjà vu; it seemed like this had popped up when he first opened Rogue Software!
Opening the Fishing Menu had allowed him to buy his own Fishing Rod; what about this Nong Zi Menu? Was it for planting those vegetables in his backyard?
Previously without property rights, this house didn’t belong to him; thus, this Nong Zi Menu hadn’t been activated. Now that he had received the property deed and owned the backyard land as well, could it mean that this Nong Zi Menu would finally open?
Would he soon be able to plant a small tree and then unlock a Lin Character Menu? And what was that other one? Agriculture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, and Fishery—what about raising livestock? Was buying a sheep feasible? He couldn’t even support himself yet; how could he raise sheep? Or perhaps he could unlock the Muzi Menu and roast a sheep instead? That didn’t sound too bad!
Familiar with the recipe and operations, Shi Tian dismissed the pop-up window and then collapsed onto his bed.
Washing through marrow? It shouldn’t be anything too extravagant. A little over ten minutes later, Shi Tian sleepily wandered downstairs.
The basement level was meant for fitness but was neither decorated nor equipped with any gym equipment. Dreamily wandering around on that floor, Shi Tian eventually made his way back upstairs in just his shorts and began jogging around his villa.
Running, doing sit-ups and push-ups, perhaps it was the activity level that reached its peak today, that Shi Tian fell asleep like a log on the bed!
After an hour of tossing and turning, the Sculpting Body and Bone pop-up interface displayed some progress before minimizing. The Nong Zi Menu was officially activated, but Shi Tian was sleeping soundly, completely unaware.
When Shi Tian woke up again, it was already six twenty in the morning, the time he had set for his alarm two days ago. He had planned to check on the shop early today to see how the old man had cleaned up the place, giving him time to prepare. But looking at the time on his phone, he realized there was no way he could get ready in time.
After a night of tossing and turning for an hour, he didn’t feel particularly tired in the morning; however, he was covered in mosquito bites that made him quite uncomfortable!
After getting up and taking a shower, changing clothes, and realizing he didn’t have time for breakfast, he grabbed the Mie Hai Ling and sprayed half a bottle in the bedroom and living room. Holding his nose, he locked the door and hurriedly drove towards the Fishing Tackle Shop.
Using the spare key to unlock the door, he saw that the shelves still had Hand Rods neatly arranged. Finally feeling relieved, Shi Tian noted that at least from the surface, the shop’s Fishing Gear seemed complete and well-organized. However, upon glancing behind the Sample, he found it completely empty.
He restocked the Hand Rods on the shelves and called to arrange for the Seafood Boss to deliver some Live Shrimp. After ordering takeout, Shi Tian began to study the newly activated Nong Zi Menu.
Opening the Nong Zi Menu, he found two items: one was spring water and the other was vegetables.
What does spring water have to do with agriculture? Providing water for planting? That seemed like a good thing; however, those vegetables were a bit absurd!
After studying for quite some time until his takeout arrived, Shi Tian finally understood the uses of these two items. The vegetables were similar to those in the Fishing Menu Fish Hook, used to earn Points. The Nongzi Points did not connect with Fishing Points; they were two different points systems.
The spring water wasn’t a magical spring but rather an ordinary mountain spring—a high-tech product. It would randomly send out based on the number of fields under his name without needing to exchange points.
The spring water could be placed anywhere on a hillside or at the foot of a mountain. Once installed, it would automatically probe into the mountain body, drawing out water veins from within and forming a clear spring.
