The operation of the Diving Boat was quite simple. Shi Tianyao controlled it to make a circle in Hai Li, and the remote control ended up in the old man's hands.
The Diving Boat wasn't anything new; the old man didn't really need it. However, this small Diving Boat was equipped with a Fish Finder and could connect to a mobile device, which made it a bit more interesting!
After maneuvering the Diving Boat around Hai Li, Old Kong turned and dashed into the shop. In less than two minutes, he emerged carrying an Iso Rod with a shrimp dangling from it. He hooked the bait onto the Diving Boat, pushed the throttle, and the boat drifted back to the spot they had just left.
Watching the signals on the Fish Finder, he pinpointed the location. With a press of a button on the remote, the Live Shrimp with the Hook was tossed into Hai Li. The boat remained still as the old man focused on both the Fish Finder and Abo, occasionally reeling in some line. Just three to five minutes later, Abo sank; seizing the opportunity, he yanked up the rod—he had hooked a fish!
As he lifted his Fishing Rod, he didn’t forget to press the one-button return feature. This operation left Shi Tian in awe! No wonder the old man was studying this mode of Fish Finder; it was somewhat complex and not easily understood by most people. The other old men had no chance to try their hand at it either; this big fish was all his!
Shi Tian couldn’t help but admire the old man. When Air Force explained the Fish Finder to him, he had felt overwhelmed and had to research extensively to understand it. Yet here was the old man, after just one day of fiddling with it, accurately judging both large fish and depth—this old man was truly impressive!
While the old man was reeling in his catch, Old Wen and others ran over with the Diving Boat's remote control and dragged Shi Tian over, asking, "Xiao Tian, how does this work? How can we tell if there are any fish?"
Just as Shi Tian was about to explain, Old Kong turned to him and said, "Hurry up and assemble the Net! We need a large one; if that fish gets away, it could break your leg!"
With that, they sent Shi Tian off. The old man kept busy reeling in his fish while instructing several other old men: "Bring up the Diving Boat! There are still two big fish in the water. While no one else is around, let’s quickly cast a couple more lines; we might just catch those two!"
Old Kong’s words nearly knocked Shi Tian off his feet. To keep the secret of the Fish Finder safe, Old Kong would go to any lengths! The two big fish he claimed to see were likely just small ones under a pound!
More than ten minutes later, Shi Tian helped Old Kong haul up a fish—a Money Grouper weighing over ten pounds—enough for Old Kong to brag about for half a month!
After taking pictures of Old Kong with his catch, the old man handed the fish over to Shi Tian and began cleaning his Rod in preparation to call it a day. Shi Tian took the fish inside and placed it in the large aquarium they had set up earlier for raising Bai Tiao.
As soon as he finished cleaning his Fishing Rod, Old Wen looked somewhat dazed—he had fallen for this old trick! Once Old Wen reeled in his line, Yi Laotou also followed suit. Shi Tian hadn’t prepared an Iso Rod for him; he had taken that rod from Shi Tian's Rod Case earlier but didn’t plan on returning it. The big Money Grouper that Old Kong caught was too beautiful—he couldn’t miss out on having one himself!
Seeing everyone packing up their Rods, Old Liu looked up at them and said, "There are still two big fish out there; aren’t you going to keep fishing?"
Before he could finish speaking, Old Liu rubbed his nose—he realized he had been tricked by Old Kong again; they were just taking advantage of honest folks!
Sun Quanshun arrived driving a seven-seat business vehicle. Since Yi Laotou mentioned he had three Fishing Buddies plus two kids, that meant even the driver couldn’t come along; he had to drive himself.
After catching an early ferry at five in the morning across the sea and running three kilometers to Sanya, it was already nine o'clock—he hadn’t even had time for breakfast!
Sun Quanshun was very filial to Yi Laotou, always saving things for him. Even if Yi Laotou didn’t go to Beihai, he would still send things over, although Yi Laotou often refused them. There were not many things left that could truly move Yi Laotou!
“Master, I’m here! Have you had breakfast?” Sun Quanshun called out as he ran over to greet Yi Laotou, who had just finished packing up his fishing gear.

After so many years of taking on disciples, all he had trained were cooks; his group of disciples was filled with chefs, making him almost forget his own age! Just thinking about it made him feel a bit down.
“Shi Tian, this is Sun Quanshun. He runs a restaurant in Beihai. If you ever go fishing in Beihai, just give him a call for meals. His cooking might not be much better than your amateur skills!”
In front of his disciples, Yi Laotou would occasionally emphasize that Shi Tian’s focus was on Yi Shu. Whether it was keeping an eye on Sun Quanshun or preparing Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell, those steps were essential!
“Senior Brother!” After Yi Laotou finished the introduction, Shi Tian quickly stepped forward to greet Sun Quanshun.
With so many disciples under Yi Laotou, Shi Tian needed to remember them all. If he could recognize all of Yi Laotou’s disciples, he could enjoy free meals all over the country without spending a dime throughout the year!
No wonder Old Kong and the others had their schemes with Yi Laotou! Who wouldn’t want such a free meal ticket? Previously, when Shi Tian saw the information Old Kong had gathered about Yi Laotou, he thought it was legendary. Now it seemed he was sitting on a treasure without even realizing it!
