Li Ziyu is opening a store, and Shi Tian must support him! They are neighbors in the villa area, and now he’s opening a shop here as well. Is Li Ziyu captivated by his charm or tempted by his delicious food?
No time to think about that now; I need to help out first! With two large stores, how can the renovation work be left to a girl? He needs to take on this responsibility!
I’m from the neighboring Fishing Tackle Shop and a friend of the store owner. I came over to see how I could help! Where's the owner? Not in the shop? I took a look and saw several workers sweating under the heat, working hard.
Fortunately, the weather has cooled down quite a bit recently; it’s only around thirty degrees at noon, which is manageable.
The owner isn’t here, and you’re here to help? Perfect! We need to clear out this trash, so please help load it onto the tricycle for removal! I glanced at Shi Tian, who was busy dismantling doors and windows with an Electric Hammer, and bluntly directed him.
Shi Tian looked at the distant figure of Shi Tian, and Bro sneered disdainfully: A toad wanting to eat swan meat—who does a Fishing Tackle Shop owner think he is to have designs on Miss Li?
Not finding Li Ziyu in the store, Shi Tian almost got caught up by Bro, who was overseeing the renovations. He had no energy left for anger.
Once inside the shop, Shi Tian began plotting how to win over Yun Wan'er.
His own house had already been renovated in a modern minimalist style, though perhaps a bit too simple.
Today he took a stroll around Li Ziyu's yard and felt utterly defeated!
Looking at her yard with its pavilions and water features, there was even a Xiao Fei Hong set up on the small Artificial Lake that blended perfectly with the entire garden. That was true elegance.
This was not his strong suit, but there were those who excelled at it! If he could bring Yun Wan'er over, he wouldn’t have to worry so much. Once the whole yard was tidied up, it would surely rival Li Ziyu's in style.
But he felt like he was just getting something for free; if he directly asked Yun Wan'er, she definitely wouldn’t come. He needed to find a way to engage her properly!
Yun Wan'er wasn’t like Shi Chui; when dealing with her, he had lost more than he won. This required careful planning!
Determined, Shi Tian went upstairs in the shop and began strategizing seriously! He worked diligently for most of the afternoon.
“Boss, did you catch these fish? Are they for sale?” A few fishermen with rods followed him after he had just bought a set of Luxury Gold curtains from town. They pointed at the fish in the tank that had been caught yesterday.
Shi Tian glanced at these fishermen and confirmed they weren’t from his usual crowd; that made things easier!
“I caught them yesterday afternoon at Liudao Bay. I originally planned to keep them for myself, but there are too many to eat. Which one do you want? If the price is right, I’ll sell it to you!”
After losing money selling fish last time, Shi Tian was being much more cautious this time.
“Today’s Air Force day; I can’t mess this up. These two Black Sea Bream will do!”
Going fishing comes at a price; you can't go empty-handed! If you come back with nothing, there won't be a next time!
Bringing back two Black Sea Bream is just right—it's not too expensive, and it gives me something to show for it. This Bro isn't always part of the Air Force, but he understands the importance of steady gains. If he catches a big fish or something valuable, he can sell it to a fishmonger and keep a few Xiao Yu for himself.
Even if he ends up with nothing, he can't return empty-handed. He'll take some of his savings and buy a few decent fish to bring home, maybe even surprise his wife with a little treat. That way, it'll be easier for him to go out fishing next time!
The Black Sea Bream weighed seventy-one pounds, with the larger one just over two pounds. If you're interested, I can give you a deal on it. The smaller ones weigh around seven ounces each, priced at ten dollars apiece. Just let me know which one you'd like!
Black Sea Bream is quite delicious and rich in collagen. However, for the sake of family harmony, Shi Tian could let this one go!
"Just give me a small one," he finally decided after some hesitation. Bringing home two fish is almost the same as bringing back one; there are only two people at home. Although the Black Sea Bream isn't large, steaming it will make for a good meal—he can always add extra side dishes!
After selling one fish, the two nearby Bros were also itching to buy; they looked like kindred spirits in misfortune.
Three fish sold for ten dollars each, and Shi Tian smacked his lips thoughtfully. "Did you see that uncle over there fishing? His wife used to not let him fish either!"
As he said this, Shi Tian smiled mysteriously and pointed to a themed tent on display. "Later on, that Bro bought this tent and took his wife camping in a beautiful spot. He even got her an affordable yet stylish little Fishing Rod."
Ever since he got his wife into fishing, look at him now! That Bro can go fishing anytime, and sometimes his wife even brings him lunch and keeps him company while he fishes!
Shi Tian doesn't expect these Bros to get their wives into fishing; it's a nice thought but hard to achieve since they're all still young and have heavy responsibilities. However, giving them an idea to take their wives out for a break could add some spice to their mundane lives!
Shi Tian recounted Old Zhang's experiences with some artistic flair to the group of Bros, and soon enough, he noticed them staring intently at Old Zhang. Their gazes had shifted from admiration to something resembling faith!
Just as they were about to pay homage, Aunt Zhang came out of the shop and shouted at Old Zhang, who was still fishing: "Old Zhang! What time is it? Get your butt over here and pack up!"
With that shout, Old Zhang looked like a mouse caught by a cat; he barely had time to reel in his line before grabbing his Rod and Fishing Box and sprinting home!
The three Bros turned in unison, bewildered expressions on their faces as they stared at Shi Tian, their eyes filled with confusion. Their faith had crumbled!
Shi Tian cleared his throat. "Well, being allowed by your wife to go fishing is already quite an achievement. As for the details of attitude—there's no need to worry about that! Today was just because that uncle lost track of time; normally he wouldn't act like this!"
