Shi Tian got into the car without mentioning anything about the fuel, immediately starting a conversation with Scallions and Ginger about short videos. While the topic was engaging, Scallion Ginger Fishy felt as though something was amiss.
Following the coordinates sent by Wang Gou, the two of them hurried to the Fishing Spot, which was already bustling with activity. The morning had been pleasant for fishing, but it wasn't quite the right time yet. To ensure Scallion Ginger Fishy's video turned out well, they needed to set things up first.
Not far from Wang Gou, they found a decent spot at the Fishing Spot. Shi Tian took out a bag of Carp Bait and scattered some around. With so many people fishing in this area, it was certain that those coming for Zao Kou would be plentiful.
Wang Gou would undoubtedly start catching fish soon. As soon as he hooked one, others would surely come over to set up their stalls nearby. Now, they just had to wait for that unfortunate soul to arrive!
Once everything was arranged, Shi Tian dragged Scallions and Ginger over to watch Wang Gou and Chao Fen fish. It wasn't their turn to start yet!
Within half an hour, Chao Fen began reeling in a carp weighing over a kilogram. Shi Tian held up his phone and filmed the entire process. After the fish was caught, he immediately shared the video in their group chat.
“Dog Brother, I posted a video in the group. Can you share it on your Moments? Include the coordinates so that all our Fishing Buddies in Sanya can enjoy some benefits!” After finishing everything, Shi Tian smiled at Wang Gou.
Last night, while drinking, Wang Gou had boasted about catching Grass Carp with Lobster for half the night. His shameless pride was truly something else.
Wang Gou glanced back at Shi Tian and smiled knowingly. Just last night he had passionately criticized himself; now he was resorting to those same old tricks without a hint of shame!
Once Wang Gou shared it on his Moments, the effect was far greater than Shi Tian's post in the group chat. Within ten minutes, a car had already parked nearby.
“Aren't you going to scatter any bait? If you don’t do it soon, you’ll miss your chance!” Wang Gou threw his line while checking his phone and reminded Shi Tian.
“Do you think I would stoop to your level? I’m genuinely looking out for our Fishing Buddies! How could I engage in such lowly acts as scattering bait?” Shi Tian replied quickly before dragging Scallions and Ginger back into the car.
The Fishing Spot that Shi Tian had set up had already attracted some Fishing Buddies. Before their stall was even ready, Scallion Ginger Fishy hurriedly grabbed his Fishing Box and headed to the spot designated by Shi Tian, which was about eight meters away from where they had prepared.
After placing down his Fishing Box, Scallion Ginger Fishy didn’t rush to cast his line but instead sat aside watching other Fishing Buddies nearby. A few bait balls were thrown in as they began preparing their own bait.
After more than ten minutes, this Bro finally started fishing, and Shi Tian officially began filming.
“Bro, your skills are impressive! You hooked a big fish right away; this Carp must weigh over three kilograms!” As soon as he cast his line and caught a fish, Scallions and Ginger also got into character. A Carp weighing nearly two kilograms quickly transformed into a three-kilogram fish in Scallion Ginger Fishy's hands, startling this Bro who hastily put away his Control Fish Tool back into his bag.
“Come on now, it's just a little guy weighing four kilograms! If it weren't for being my first catch of the day, I would have released it!” Carefully placing the fish into his Yu Hu, this Bro wore an expression of pride.
It had been a long time since he caught such a big fish; he was still buzzing with excitement. In front of others, however, he had to keep that excitement bottled up—he couldn't let these two see how thrilled he really was!
Shi Tian's Wo Liao technique proved effective; within half an hour he had caught three fish—two over two kilograms each and one weighing four kilograms. The compliments from Scallion Ginger Fishy made this Bro feel elated; he was starting to lose touch with reality!
"Bro, did you make this bait yourself? It's amazing!"
"I just mixed it randomly. The sky is getting dark, and I think I might not have enough bait to last until then!" As soon as the mention of bait came up, this Bro immediately landed on the ground, his expression cautious.
There's no way I'm letting anyone steal my bait ideas! I remembered the ratio I used earlier; I can't be so careless next time. I must prepare my bait at home before coming out.
"Bro, I'm a newbie and haven't caught such a big fish before! I'll be fishing over there for a while; if anything goes wrong, could you give me some pointers?" Seeing Shi Tian give him a nod, Scallion Ginger Fishy couldn't help but smile; it was finally time to start fishing!
"Sure, no problem! But you need to stay a bit farther away from here. My bait is a bit overpowering; the fish nearby have already been lured in, and there are none left around!" He glanced back at Scallion Ginger Fishy, kindly reminding him.
With enough materials gathered here, it was time to see his performance!
He set up his rod and adjusted the float, tossing handfuls of Carp Bait into the water. Scallion Ginger Fishy learned from Wang Gou how to hook Plastic Particles onto the line without waiting for the spot to settle; he just started casting one after another!
That Bro's fishing spot had only a little bait thrown in, and by now it was probably cleaned out by the Carp below. Although he replenished with Wo Liao, it didn't have quite the same effect as Carp Bait.
If Scallion Ginger Fishy wasn't making a spot here, the fish over there would definitely stay in their area. Since there's a feast here now, who would still be nibbling on corn over there?
Scallion Ginger Fishy's Wo Liao hadn't shown its power yet, but that Bro took advantage of the opportunity and hooked another Carp weighing over a pound.
"You're using the wrong hook! It's too big; you need to use Xiao Gou!" Noticing that Scallion Ginger Fishy might not have been paying attention while holding up his catch, this Bro patiently pointed it out.
"Wow! Bro, you caught another fish! Alright, I'll switch to Xiao Gou for my next cast!" Scallion Ginger Fishy quickly responded after glancing back at that Bro.
With another envious remark exchanged, that Bro could confidently cast his line again!
