After blinking for a moment, Shi Tian pinched his nose and replied, "I don’t know if he’ll give you pointers on your fishing skills, but if you’ve shut him up, he might come over to discuss Bait or Wo Liao with you!"

With Shi Tian's reminder, Scallion Ginger Fishy immediately understood. He stuffed the Wo Liao into the Fishing Box, pulled out a packet of Bait, put the Wo Liao from the bait tray into his pocket, and then poured a small half-plate of Bait on top.
After more than twenty minutes passed, as the scent of Wo Liao spread out, fish began to approach Scallion Ginger Fishy's side. Although Scallion Ginger Fishy mainly focused on Sea Fishing, his skills in Taiwanese Fishing were still quite impressive. With just one bite, Scallion Ginger Fishy accurately hooked a Carp weighing over two pounds.
It wouldn’t be polite not to reciprocate. Even though he hadn’t heard Bro’s advice about changing the Hook earlier, he still had to thank him for the reminder! "Bro, thanks to your tip, I just changed my Hook and caught a fish! You’re really amazing!" He waved the fish in front of Bro a couple of times before tossing it into the Yu Hu; the show had officially begun!
In a while, Niu Zong and his team would come to sign the contract. This order was negotiated by you, so get ready; we’ll meet in the conference room in ten minutes! Back at the company, Lobster was just about to slack off when Zhang Junming rushed over and knocked on his desk to remind him.
"Got it! I’ll prepare right away!" Lobster replied as he looked up at Zhang Junming.
He had relied on Niu Zong to pull Zhang Junming into this venture. Now that Zhang Junming was involved, could this signing strengthen their collaboration?
Watching Zhang Junming leave, Lobster turned and slipped into the restroom. He quickly dialed Wang Ergou.
Contracts aren’t just about signing a name; they require several departments from both companies to gather together and interpret each clause. Only after confirming that everything is in order can both parties’ representatives sign the contract. This process is tedious and lengthy.
For contracts that aren’t too large, if they involve significant funds or multiple collaborative projects, negotiations alone can take several weeks or even months. It’s not something that can be settled with a snap decision!
In the large conference room, everyone from both sides had arrived. Lobster timed his entrance perfectly as he headed toward the conference room with Zhang Junming and Niu Zong behind him.
"Ah! Niu Zong is here in person!" Lobster exclaimed as he turned around upon hearing movement behind him. "I saw your post yesterday; that Big Carp was truly beautiful—at least twenty pounds!"
"Not at all! It was only sixteen pounds and eight ounces," Niu Zong replied with a sigh. "Later I hooked a bigger one and fought it for over twenty minutes, but my Rod couldn’t handle it and broke; that fish must have been over thirty pounds!"
Last time they went fishing together, Lobster had stolen the spotlight by catching the biggest fish. In his excitement, he even treated Lobster and Zhang Junming to a meal!
Yesterday he caught a big fish and posted about it online; both Zhang Junming and Lobster liked and congratulated him. But now that they were face-to-face again, if Lobster hadn’t brought it up, he wouldn’t have shown off.
"If I remember correctly, your Rod is from Ting, right? That Rod could break? It must take a fish weighing at least sixty pounds to do that! What a pity!" Lobster expressed regret upon hearing about the broken rod.
Seeing Lobster chatting about fishing with Niu Zong made Zhang Junming want to slap himself. He had been so focused on contracts during their journey that he hadn’t realized how much lighter the atmosphere became once Lobster started talking about fishing!
Just as they were about to enter the conference room door, Lobster’s phone rang. He answered it casually and immediately heard the sound of water splashing inside!
"Xiaomi," he said, listening to the commotion. "Guess how much this fish weighs!"
Wang Ergou on the phone hadn’t finished his sentence when Lobster abruptly hung up, quickly pressing the power button with an apologetic look. "I was so caught up chatting with Niu Zong that I forgot to turn it off. I’m really sorry, I’ll shut it down right now!"
As the screen went dark, Zhang Junming and Niu Zong exchanged glances before turning to stare at Lobster. "Is your friend fishing? That fish must be quite big!"
This guy spends all his time fishing. Just yesterday, he went to Wanning and caught a Black Goat that the owner had been raising, nearly bringing the owner to tears!
Putting away his phone, Lobster looked genuinely apologetic. "That guy knows a lot about Wo Liao; he always manages to catch big fish. But he’s stingy; when I ask him for some Wo Liao, he won’t share. He only helps me bait when I go fishing with him!"
Thinking that the other party had caught a big fish and hearing Lobster mention his knowledge of Wo Liao made them even more curious.
They figured they would still be negotiating contracts for a few more hours! Why don’t we cast a few lines? Once they finish their negotiations, we can just come back and sign! Zhang Junming suggested after a moment of shared understanding.
With that, the three of them exchanged knowing smiles—this plan was solid.
After chatting for a bit in the conference room, they took the elevator down and loaded the Fishing Gear into Zhang Junming’s car. Zhang Junming drove while Lobster contacted Wang Ergou to help set up at the Fishing Spot. Thus, the three of them had a legitimate excuse to skip work!
In less than half an hour, Scallion Ginger Fishy had completely silenced the Bro next to him.
Watching Scallion Ginger Fishy catch fish one after another, Bro couldn’t hold back any longer and came over to ask for tips.
