Seeing Shi Tian pulling up his rod, several others also instinctively reeled in theirs. There were just too many people here; it was better to find another spot to fish. A group of them sat in a row; it was much better than getting frustrated with the crowd!
At the new Fishing Spot, Shi Tian scattered some bait along the shore to lure in the Little White Strips and prevent them from causing chaos. He set up his Rod, cast out some Carp Bait, and whether Yun Wan'er would enjoy Sweet and Sour Carp tonight depended on how well these Wo Liao performed!
"Dog Brother, I’m thinking of going again next Monday. Want to join?" As he cast his line into the water, Shi Tian turned to ask Wang Ergou.
After a month of networking, Shi Tian finally had a small circle of friends. The next step was to nurture this circle and gradually expand it!
Shi Tian had considered joining someone else’s circle before but ultimately decided against it after much thought. Every circle has its core; entering someone else's core is a long process. Replacing that core position is even trickier—one wrong move could ruin relationships and destroy the circle altogether.
Instead of trying to fit into someone else's circle, why not build one of your own?
A self-built circle starts with its core and develops according to your own vision. It’s much easier than trying to take over someone else's circle and then slowly modifying it.
The circle doesn’t need to be large; a few people are fine—ten or so is just right. With layers built from within and outside, you can shape it nicely in just a few months.
"Going? Ah! Next Monday? No problem! I never miss out on fishing plans," Wang Ergou replied eagerly unless there’s a better Fishing Spot available.
With Wang Ergou confirmed, Scallion and Ginger to Remove Fishy Smell had already discussed their plans on the way here. Adding Sun Lang made four people now; they just needed to check with Lobster.
A fishing boat like Mini Air Force can have around ten Fishing Spots on board. However, since Air Force is mainly for personal use, it has fewer spots than an ordinary fishing boat—five people is just right; any more would feel cramped.
This time out at sea, Sun Lang also wanted to join in on the fun. "I’ll call Lobster tonight to see if he’s available. If he is, we’ll add him; if not, four of us will be enough!" After finishing his sentence, Shi Tian's Float began bubbling with excitement—he was ready for Fish Star!
The Carp's bite is straightforward: a few gentle taps followed by a solid pull—that's typical. Sometimes they go straight for the pull without teasing first; that’s just how aggressive Carp can be!
The bait had already been scattered, so there was definitely no chance of Xiao Yu causing any trouble. Now, all that was left was to keep an eye on the float and wait for Hei Piao to signal a catch.
Hei Piao didn’t mean it was time to reel in right away; first, he needed to count to a few numbers in his head. These two numbers were like a spell for catching carp, and reciting them would significantly increase the chances of hooking a fish.
“Are we going out to sea? When? For how many days?” Shi Tian’s attention was entirely on the float, but he could hear Lobster’s voice behind him.
Shi Tian didn’t have time to deal with him at the moment; his float had already started moving, and he was just waiting to reel in.
“Next Monday, probably for four or five days. Do you have time?” Without turning his head, he casually replied to Lobster. Wang Er gripped his rod tightly and suddenly pulled; he had a fish on!
As Wang Ergou hooked a fish, Shi Tian also felt a tug on his line. However, the fish on Shi Tian’s end was considerably larger; the rod was almost bending under the strain!

Wang Ergou lifted his own two-kilogram carp from his rod and glanced back at Shi Tian with some envy.
“This fish isn’t small at all. Need any help? I’ll give you ten dollars if you let me play with it for twenty minutes!” Wang Ergou said mischievously, looking at Shi Tian standing in the water.
