Shi Tian's words were spot on; the post-80s generation is indeed the most vibrant one! They have fought through countless challenges, crossing narrow bridges and facing the exhaustion of falling into rivers, while those who managed to stay dry still had their own struggles. Graduating from school, the post-70s had jobs assigned to them, while the post-80s had to be tough and seek out their own employment! 0

After finally landing a job, they found that the post-70s and post-00s were getting housing allocations, but they turned their noses up at those houses and went ahead to buy upscale ones with their own money, hoping that in a few decades, they might even appreciate in value! With mortgages and car loans still unpaid, and elderly parents above them along with one or two children below needing care, there was no time to catch their breath. They were absolutely driven and couldn’t afford to stop! 0

Even when it came to finding a job, after a few years of working in a company, a post-90s newcomer could easily rise through the ranks under the guidance of the post-70s, leaving the post-80s feeling crushed and unable to get back up! 0

Shi Tian's remark hit hard; it left several people struggling to swallow their squid. Each took a cigarette and raised a can of beer, deciding it was better to go fishing instead! Watching the group head out to fish, Shi Tian shook his head slightly. What fish could they catch at this hour? The fish were resting; they wouldn’t bite until around four o'clock! 0

After downing a drink, Shi Tian tidied up the deck of the boat and returned with the guitar he had bought earlier. He figured he should get familiar with the chords first! Accompanying the swaying rhythm of Mini Air Force, his fingers pressed down on the strings until they hurt. That stubborn guitar still occasionally decided to take breaks, but at least his right-hand fingers were becoming more nimble. 0

Fish on! The sound of Wang Ergou's electric reel snapped everyone awake; those who had been dozing off suddenly opened their eyes wide! Listening to the line slowly unwinding from the reel made them more anxious than Wang Ergou himself. 0

Wang Ergou had hooked a fish; it was time for Shi Tian, the boatman, to get to work. He put away his guitar and came out carrying a net. Wang Ergou was quite the character; to prevent Da Gui Pai from getting a good night's sleep, he had hooked a twenty-kilogram Zhou Aji that felt like reeling in a tuna. The excitement sent adrenaline surging through everyone watching, completely erasing any sleepiness! 0

After more than twenty minutes of struggle, Wang Ergou finally eased up on his drag and brought the fish alongside the boat. Shi Tian swiftly scooped it up with his net! The navigation light was on! This was signaling big fish ahead; they needed to cast their lines quickly! “Aren’t you going to drop your line?” Wang Ergou asked with a smirk as he tossed the fish into the livewell and then baited two hooks before casting them back out! 0

Upon hearing Wang Ergou’s words, Da Gui Pai realized they wouldn’t be sleeping tonight! Each one felt like they had been fitted with electric motors as they repeatedly cast their lines into the water, standing in a row with their backsides bouncing up and down! 0

Wang Ergou’s words made sense; with Zhou Aji around, there was indeed a chance for big fish nearby since these creatures often swam close behind sharks or sea turtles. 0

However, whether it was sharks or sea turtles, even if they bit the hook, would anyone dare pull them up? Sharks were classified as second-level protected species, and so were sea turtles. They wouldn’t risk bringing them onboard; otherwise, they might end up losing an entire fishing set! 0

At three-thirty in the morning, Da Gui Pai's energy was nearly depleted thanks to Wang Ergou’s antics. Just as they were about to turn back for some rest, Shi Tian came out carrying an electric reel. He baited a little squid onto a hook and cast it out into the water! 0

“Are you all heading off to rest? It’s getting late; hurry up and get some sleep! The tuna won’t bite until four o'clock; if you go back now, you can still catch half an hour of sleep!” He kindly reminded Da Gui Pai before letting out some line and teasing the fish within thirty meters. 0

Earlier from Tan Yu Yan’s vantage point, he had seen a big fellow lurking around; he didn’t know how big it was but could tell from its strong movements that it was something worth catching. So he quickly cast his rod again! 0

Shi Tian's reminder left Da Gui Pai feeling somewhat uneasy! 0

At four o'clock, the big fish would start biting, and it was already three-thirty. How could anyone still be sleeping? Shouldn't we finish catching the Zao Kou first? 0

Rubbing his head, he looked around at the nearby fishing boats. Many people had already started casting their lines. Over at the edge, on the Cong Jiang Qu Xing, lobsters had already pulled Niu Zong and Zhang Junming out! 0

Just a little longer; it wouldn't be too late to sleep after catching the Zao Kou! The group exchanged glances, and Calmly immediately made the decision. 0

They all cast their lines, and the lobsters across from them were quite a sight. Niu Zong and Zhang Junming were getting ready when they turned their heads and called out to Calmly and the others, "Hey! Where's one of the Turtle Trio? Did you swap someone out?" 0

Da Gui Wang had long gone to sleep. Ever since Shi Tian played Shou Si last night, he hadn't shown his face. However, Sun Lang had joined Da Gui's team, becoming a true Da Gui Lao. 0

With this reminder from the lobsters, Calmly slapped his thigh. Right! They were here battling through the night while Da Gui Wang was snoring away in his bed—how could that be tolerated? 0

He grabbed his rod and dashed into Da Gui Wang's room. With a firm tug on Da Gui Wang's ear, he dragged him up. 0

"Get up quickly; it's time to fish!" he shouted while pulling on Da Gui Wang's ear. With a swift motion, Da Gui Wang was half-asleep but lifted onto the deck. 0

Calmly shoved his rod into Da Gui Wang's hands, stretched his arms a bit, put on his cut-resistant gloves, and turned to play Shou Si. 0
