If it weren't for Yi Laotou calling him the night before, he would have forgotten that Yi Laotou was a feng shui master. In his mind, Yi Laotou was supposed to be a chef; he had never heard of him doing feng shui readings. Now, accompanying Yi Laotou for a feng shui consultation, he wondered if he would end up getting beaten!
As soon as the car door opened, Yi Laotou hopped into the passenger seat, while the other three old men squeezed into the back row, leaving Shisan Shixiong and the driver staring at each other in confusion. What kind of magic did Shi Tian's car possess? Instead of sitting comfortably in the spacious business vehicle, these three old men chose to cram into a smaller car. What was their game?
After exchanging glances, the driver turned and climbed into the business car. He couldn't afford to lose track of these three old men; otherwise, it would be a huge hassle!
Shisan Shixiong felt a pang of jealousy. Was there really such a big gap between those who learned cooking and those who learned fortune-telling? He had treated them to food and drink all day, and now they were all crammed into Shi Tian's little junky car!
This client was one that Shisan Shixiong had taken on. Somehow, they had found out about Yi Master after several unsuccessful attempts to book him. Eventually, through a convoluted network involving a neighbor's sister's aunt's niece, they reached out to Shisan Shixiong.
Since they were so closely connected, he decided to help by making a call! When Shisan Shixiong called, Yi Laotou didn't refuse but mentioned that if they could wait, he would be in Guangzhou for a month or so and could check things out then.
If it weren't for Shi Tian being in Guangzhou, this matter could have dragged on for another ten days or half a month. With Shi Tian present in Guangzhou, the old men rushed over, leaving Shisan Shixiong with the responsibility.
The client's car led the way. Since Shisan Shixiong would be coming later and didn't want to trouble this client any further, he decided to drive his own car and follow behind. Otherwise, how would he get there later?
The driver looked like no pushover; there probably wasn't even room for him in that spacious business vehicle. And Shi Tian's car was even more packed with old men—he certainly couldn't take a taxi!
After several turns, they pulled up to a villa with a sizable artificial lake in the yard filled with green water. Shi Tian felt an urge to fish again.
There was no swimming pool in the yard; perhaps it was built underground to make the yard feel more spacious.
"Go take a look! I'll cast a couple of lines in this artificial lake!" Yi Laotou clapped Shi Tian on the shoulder and got out of the car. However, the other three old men showed no intention of getting out.
With the Three Old Men refusing to exit, he couldn't turn off the ignition; otherwise, without air conditioning, they'd probably roast inside!
Following Fat Boss into the villa, Shi Tian noticed Fat Boss's gaze fixed on Yi Laotou. "I'll take a quick look first," he said with a slight smile. "My Master will discuss some matters with you shortly!"
Seeing that Yi Laotou wasn't moving yet, Fat Boss had no choice but to ramble on about his troubles to Shi Tian! It left Shi Tian feeling perplexed.
He had paid a hefty sum to bring Yi Laotou here because there had been some unsettling occurrences in this house lately—everywhere felt prickly as if something dirty was lurking around. That’s why they specifically invited the master for an assessment.
Prickly sensations? This intrigued Shi Tian as he followed Fat Boss’s lead. When he touched the refrigerator, he instinctively withdrew his hand—was it leaking electricity?
Touching the stove yielded similar sensations; it definitely felt electrifying! Without a doubt, there was likely an electrical leak!
Why would someone seek out a fortune teller for an electrical issue instead of calling an electrician? It seemed like someone had too many guilty secrets weighing on their conscience!
However, since they had paid so much to bring them here, they couldn't leave without resolving the issue! How could they just let that money go?
Is there a Wan Biao? The kind used by electricians. You can ask the property management if they have one. Arrange for Fat Boss to borrow a Wan Biao, while Shi Tian is busy running to the distribution box, pulling down one Electric Switch after another.
He pulls one, and if it still feels tingly, he goes for the next one. After three, when he pulls the fourth Electric Switch, his hand no longer feels numb. It’s settled; there’s an issue with this particular circuit. The other Electric Switches are turned off, and they’ll wait for Fat Boss to come and check the circuit. They’ll find out which line has no power, and that will pinpoint the problem.
Originally intending to come here for feng shui, Shi Tian finds himself working as an electrician instead, feeling somewhat speechless.
He runs into the yard and sees Yi Laotou is quite impressive! He’s actually fishing in someone’s Artificial Lake!
Master, isn’t it a bit inappropriate to fish in someone else’s Fish Pond? Shi Tian chuckles as he approaches Yi Laotou, rubbing his nose.
What I’m fishing for isn’t just fish; it’s Great Evil! Punishing Evil and Promoting Good is our duty! Yi Laotou casually remarks, looking up at Shi Tian and asking, “What do you see? Is there a problem?”
Is this what a charlatan sounds like? Fishing and claiming to catch Great Evil?
The Gen Position has too much earth and weak fire; encountering Jin Shui is a small matter! Aren’t you a charlatan too? Then let him be one as well!
Speak plainly! Yi Laotou slaps Shi Tian on the back of the head, slightly annoyed.
