The bait was substantial, and if it worked well, it would be just as effective as the Carp Bait and Grass Carp Bait! After scattering some in front of a few fishing platforms, the plan was to attract Xiao Yu first, preventing those pesky Xiao Tiao from disturbing the Azure Wind Antelope, allowing them to last a bit longer.
"What are you throwing out?" Old Kong curiously asked as he watched Shi Tian sprinkle Wo Liao at each fishing spot.
"Bait," Shi Tian replied. "It'll draw all the Striped Catfish over here so they won't cause trouble. This way, the Azure Wind Antelope will last longer! If we throw some bait at the nearby fishing spot, we might even receive heartfelt thanks from other fishing buddies!"
Upon hearing this, the old men were taken aback. No wonder Shi Tian had prepared so much bait for them! But what was the point of scattering bait at someone else's fishing spot? Helping others with their fishing? Were they afraid of being outdone? Perhaps this act of kindness was worth trying.
However, such deeds should be done anonymously; good deeds should remain uncelebrated. They certainly didn’t want to bask in any gratitude that might come their way!
After finishing everything, they placed the bait at the fishing spot and stored the Azure Wind Antelope in their fishing box. Each lit a cigarette and waited for half an hour before they could cast their lines.
"Old man, I recently took a course at the Tropical Ocean Institute. The professor's explanations were incredibly enlightening!" After finishing his cigarette, Shi Tian stood up and pulled out a colorful sun-protective jacket from his car, chatting casually with the old men.

With that said, Shi Tian stepped into the river and climbed onto his fishing platform. A large fish was nearby, but he had no idea whose spot it had wandered into!
He cast his line, while the old men on shore felt anxious. Was there really such a thing as a special sun-protective jacket? Should they go change into one? But it seemed they didn’t have any colorful sun-protective jackets!
"Stop listening to his nonsense and just cast your lines!" Old Liu reminded them. "He’s just trying to fool us; haven’t you seen he’s already cast his line?" With that encouragement, Old Liu climbed onto his own fishing platform, baited his hook, and cast his line while glancing at Shi Tian to see who would catch a fish first!
Old Liu went first, and the other old men quickly followed suit, eager to cast their lines while it was still cool outside. They wanted to investigate whether what Shi Tian said was truly as mystical as he claimed.
Using plastic particles to catch Azure Catfish wouldn’t work like Snail bait; you couldn’t just cast it out and wait thirty or forty minutes. You’d need to change the bait every twenty minutes at most; otherwise, it would dissolve.
But this method had its advantages; spreading out plastic particles could enhance their fish-attracting effect.
Catching Azure Catfish mainly relied on patience. Those who landed big fish often spent days or even weeks preparing their spots before enticing fish into them.
They would start by using Snail bait for three days and then begin fishing after that—still needing to maintain their spots for several more days while occasionally replenishing bait to finally catch something substantial.
There was once a fishing buddy who spent over three hundred pounds on Snail bait just to catch Giant Fish, waiting over ten days—this was standard practice.
Like Wang Ergou and his friends, they had often done similar things: setting up a fishing platform and baiting once a day for several days just to hope for a big catch in those final days—but more often than not, they returned empty-handed.
Suddenly, the float moved. Shi Tian raised his rod and caught a three-pound Xiao Qing Yu. He unhooked it and released it back into the river without putting it in his catch net—a rare moment of restraint!
The main issue was that the fish was too small. They had come today specifically for the Giant Fish, and a three-pound Azure Catfish was still too young in his eyes. It needed a few more years in the river to grow; they would talk about it again once it reached over thirty pounds!
Seeing this situation, Old Wen's eyelids twitched. He quickly took out his phone and sent a message to the driver, asking him to buy four sets of sun protection clothing first. Regardless of whether they had them or not, they should wear them. After all, Shi Tian's side had already caught something, while they hadn't made any progress yet!
Shi Tian and his group were fishing, while Shi Chui and Yun Wan'er had taken Old Zhang and his wife onto a flight to Guangzhou. They had already chosen a house; in fact, Old Zhang's son had picked it out earlier and was just waiting for his parents to help with the down payment. As children grow up, they become less like children. The farther away they are, the quieter life becomes. He and Yun Wan'er both wanted to stay far from Shi Tian to avoid being bothered every day! Ideally, they could just call him when they wanted to see him and let him disappear into the vast sea of people when they didn’t!
They had indeed chosen that row of small High-Level houses.
