Hearing that Old Zhang still plans to keep the Gold Shop open, Shi Chui squinted and said, "Running that Gold Shop is exhausting. If you ask me, just close it down. I’ll have Xiao Tian get you two storefronts; you can open a restaurant instead!"

If Shi Tian can provide a recipe for someone he doesn’t even know like Luo Yongshan, then getting two recipes for Old Zhang should be a piece of cake. If Old Zhang agrees, he should meet with Master Shi Tian in Guangzhou and inquire about it beforehand. If everything goes smoothly, he could casually bring it up with Master Shi Tian; this shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
Opening a restaurant? That’s definitely worth considering. At my age, dealing with heavy machinery every day isn’t ideal. I think it’s a good idea! Nodding slightly, Old Zhang also felt that Shi Chui had a point.
Shi Tian had guided two shops: one was Luo Yongshan Dumpling House and the other was Chuan Ge Barbecue Restaurant. Both places were thriving now, with many people from the city coming specifically to dine there.
If Shi Tian could really get him a storefront to open a restaurant, the profits would surely surpass what he makes at the Gold Shop. It might be tiring at first, but later on, he could just relax and enjoy the earnings!
He would ask Shi Laodi to check with Xiao Tian about getting a storefront. If it works out, he wouldn’t open the Gold Shop anymore and would instead run a restaurant! After calculating everything in his mind, Old Zhang quickly spoke to Shi Chui.
The reason Shi Chui was encouraging Old Zhang to open a restaurant was also part of his own plan. He had heard that Luo Yongshan Dumpling House and Chuan Ge Barbecue were planning to host Shi Tian’s parents as they insisted on treating them to show their gratitude.
Shi Tian had given them recipes; now that his parents were here, they had to express their appreciation! Since Shi Chui wouldn’t accept any gifts of alcohol or tobacco, they could at least have a meal at the restaurant!
The Dumpling House was fine, but at Chuan Ge, they could enjoy barbecue and drinks together. After having some fun there, Shi Chui started to have new ideas.
Just having Chuan Ge alone wasn’t enough excitement; plus, he had to return to work at closing time. If he could find one or two more people to hang out with, it would create a little social circle!
Old Zhang was a good guy who also liked fishing. If he could persuade him into the restaurant business, that would give him another place to drink! Besides, Old Zhang would probably be more fun than Chuan Ge!
Shi Chui also needed a social circle in Sanya. After fishing for several days at Xinyue Lake and looking at the empty villa area, he felt frustrated.
Now he even thought about helping Shi Tian manage the shop every day—running over to fish for a few hours while chatting with some fishing buddies would be much more enjoyable than staying cooped up in the villa area.
Unfortunately, he couldn’t connect with those people fishing by the shop; they weren’t on the same wavelength!
When the plane landed, Old Zhang's son had already been waiting at the airport for quite some time. After picking him up, they headed straight to the sales office. Once they met up with the sales representative as planned, they just needed to wait for Shi Chui and Yun Wan'er to make their payment.
Yun Wan'er was quite satisfied with Zhang's efficiency. She had originally planned to spend an entire day handling this matter but was pleasantly surprised that everything was wrapped up smoothly in just one morning!
Taking out her phone, she dialed Shi Tian's number to inform him that everything was settled. Then she planned to head back to the hotel for some rest and think about what kind of gift she should prepare for Yi Laoyez for their meeting tomorrow.
Just then her phone vibrated; it was Shi Chui calling.
After answering the call and giving him her hotel room number, before confirming whether they would have dinner together that night, she noticed the float slowly sinking several notches. Startled, Shi Tian didn’t dare speak.
He had already recognized that series of large bubbles near his float meant fish were biting. Those clever fish took advantage of his distraction while he was on the phone! Alarmed by this realization, Shi Tian quickly muted his call with Shi Chui and focused intently on his float in the water—he couldn’t even pay attention to Shi Chui anymore!
Once again, the water surface was barely visible, and just as Shi Tian was hesitating whether to make a move, the last glimpse vanished completely!
With a swift motion, he thrust the rod forward, feeling a heavy tug! The rod tilted forward, and Shi Tian quickly steadied it with his left hand while holding his phone.
Splash! Yun Wan'er had taken the lead and executed a perfect forward somersault, diving headfirst into the water, though she didn’t quite manage to control the splash.
Bubbles surfaced as Shi Chui exclaimed:
"Old man, my phone fell into the water! I need your help; with such a big fish on the line, I have no choice!"
Fortunately, the phone was fine; it was waterproof. Plus, the water here was shallow. If he could get an old man to help retrieve it, he could focus on reeling in the fish without worry.
As Shi Tian struggled with his catch, several elderly gentlemen immediately noticed. Just as Liu Laoyezi bent down to help him retrieve the phone, Old Kong rushed over and said, "Here, let me hold the rod for you; you hurry and get your phone!"
