"Going to Ganquan Island? That sounds lovely, but we definitely won't make it in the morning. At the very least, we need the Air Force to get past Zao Kou before we can go there, or they could just head straight over to fish at Zao Kou."
After chatting with Kang Ziyu all night, Shi Tian only saw Kang Ziyu slip away just before the Air Force came for the shift change in the morning.
After a night of conversation, Shi Tian gained quite a bit of insight. "Jun Ge, here’s a coordinate I got from a friend; it’s a Secret Fishing Spot where there are plenty of fish!" Once Air Force One was on duty, Shi Tian quickly jotted down the coordinates he had prepared last night for the Air Force.
"Xisha? Where isn’t there fish? The fish in Xisha are practically overflowing; it’s just that some places can’t be fished due to protected species—there's even a long list of them."
These coordinates weren’t something Shi Tian made up; he got them from Oka, and it was the closest coordinate to Ganquan Island.
"Secret Fishing Spot?" Upon hearing this term, the Air Force perked up.
The results from that Secret Fishing Spot yesterday were quite impressive—Air Force caught plenty, and Lu Ya and Da Gui did well too. But Shi Ye and Pingtou Ge were incredible; it was as if they had cheats as they took turns reeling in fish.
Pingtou Ge caught two Da Zhang Hong, each over sixty pounds. Shi Ye landed three Sea Red Spots, one weighing twelve pounds. He even played with a fast car and caught one over eighty pounds—he really had his fill.
The evening bite was where the real action was—each person caught a Dajinqiang within ten minutes of each other. After a long struggle, they nearly starved Air Force and Lu Ya with anticipation.
With Shi Tian’s Secret Fishing Spot in mind, they immediately changed plans; today’s Zao Kou would head to the Secret Fishing Spot! After Shi Ye and Pingtou Ge's success yesterday, it was definitely Shi Tian's turn today!
"Quickly go to sleep; I'll call you when we reach the Fishing Spot!"
Tomorrow's Zao Kou had to include Shi Tian; that was something he discussed with Shi Ye and Lu Ya. Originally, they should have invited Shi Tian to go fishing last night and check if he had any Tuna Bait on hand. Unfortunately, Shi Tian's Rod was snatched by Pingtou Ge.
They wanted to call Shi Tianxia to fish during the evening bite but ended up finding him sleeping on top of the boat while asking Three Beauties to keep watch nearby. That kid really knew how to enjoy himself.
When they arrived at the Fishing Spot, just as Shi Tian fell asleep, he was called up by Air Force.
Being dragged from his dreams by Air Force left Shi Tian speechless. "You guys can fish without me; why wake me up? I came to Xisha for some fun with girls, not to accompany you fishing!"
Since Air Force had already disturbed his sleep, he decided not to go back and instead sought out Pingtou Ge for a heart-to-heart chat!
After freshening up and making sure to look sharp in the mirror, I thought to myself that I couldn't let Kang Ziyu down. Standing by Stern, I shared a few cigarettes with the others. The climate in Xisha was quite unique, with a temperature difference of only three to four degrees between day and night. Even before the sun rose, it was already around twenty-six or twenty-seven degrees.
"Xiao Tian, aren't you going to fish?" I asked when I noticed Shi Tian wasn't showing any intention of casting his line. Air Force One chimed in beside me.
"Not today; I promised them yesterday that I would take them snorkeling at Yongle Island." I glanced at Pingtou Ge, who had a slight smirk on his face, clearly amused.
Upon hearing that Shi Tian was taking Kang Ziyu snorkeling, Shi Ye immediately nudged Air Force and Lu Ya, shaking his head to signal that their plans had changed and they should pause their fishing.
"Snorkeling? Aren't we fishing? I'll just take her over there for a bit around noon with Air Force!" Pingtou Ge was uneasy about letting his delicate sister be taken out by Shi Tian, even if Eleven and September were going along.
"Well, seeing you all fishing makes me want to join in too. How about we catch some Zao Kou?" Shi Tian muttered to himself before leaning closer to Pingtou Ge with a grin. "Come on, hand me your rod! I've heard there are some hefty tunas here; last month, two over two pounds were caught!"
"If you don't let me accompany your sister snorkeling, I'll take your rod and leave you with nothing to catch. Are you scared?"
Pingtou Ge was momentarily stunned at the mention of those hefty tunas. With catches over two pounds, could he really lend his rod to Shi Tian?
As soon as Shi Tian said that, Air Force and the others exchanged amused glances. This kid had picked up some bad habits; they would have to be more cautious from now on!
After a moment of silence, Pingtou Ge felt a pang of regret. He had shot himself in the foot with that comment!
Out here at sea, given those three girls' habits, they definitely wouldn't wake up before eight. If he tried to stop them after eight, the chance for Zao Kou would be gone!
Even if he didn't try to stop them, he could still tag along for snorkeling and keep an eye on that kid. That would work too!
"Aren't you taking them snorkeling? Hurry up and get ready! They should be waking up soon!" After much deliberation, Pingtou Ge decided he would still try to catch some Zao Kou first; after all, those were hefty tunas!
