Leaving the harbor, they found a stretch of sea far from the shipping lanes, where a gentle sea breeze blew. A few of them sat on the deck, sipping drinks.
"Xiao Tian, do you like Xiao Yu? Should I share some experience with you?" One of them chuckled. "With my years of navigating these waters, teaching you a couple of tricks to win over Xiao Yu should be a piece of cake!"
Noticing that Shi Tian was distracted, glancing up at the ship's top from time to time, Air Force smiled slightly. Teasing Shi Tian made their drinks flow more freely.
When the conversation turned to women, Air Force and Lu Ya began recounting their experiences in detail, making even Shi Ye feel tempted to join in. Initially hoping to learn something from these two, Shi Tian found that after a few cans of beer, listening to their tales made him feel rather sorry for them.
"Look at you two! Three single guys talking about love? What you have is just a transaction—each getting what they want. It's merely a small business deal; what’s there to brag about?"
After giving them a glance, Shi Tian could no longer hold back. The way these two spoke of love was so fleeting—like a spring breeze for one night, then forgotten in the rivers and lakes. Such love was beyond his reach; he considered himself a person of taste. How did he end up mingling with such vulgar company?
"Don't drag me into this; I refuse to associate with you!" With that outburst, Shi Ye had had enough.
"You? You wouldn’t associate with them? That sounds even more hypocritical than what Air Force and Lu Ya are saying! You all might as well be wearing the same pants; how can you speak so grandly? Do you even believe that yourself?" Shi Tian shot a disdainful look at Shi Ye and didn’t buy his words for a second.
"Ye Ge, everything we know about chasing girls comes from you! Now you want to distance yourself? Too late!" Seeing Shi Tian's contemptuous expression, Shi Ye was about to retort when Air Force quickly turned his attention back to him.
As Air Force launched his verbal assault, Lu Ya immediately joined in, both accusing Shi Ye of various ridiculous tactics he had suggested in the past. Shi Tian could only shake his head in disbelief.
The strategies he had shared with Sun Lang and Old Lin were at least tried and tested through Brother Niu's experience. They had been refined through practice and were valuable lessons learned over time.
But with Air Force and Lu Ya, it was a different story altogether! The techniques taught by Shi Ye were nothing but off-the-cuff remarks he made in a moment of inspiration. They took those as ancient secrets and went out to practice them. The results were predictable; it was no wonder they ended up like this!
As the debate heated up, Shi Tian prepared himself for an all-out verbal battle against three opponents but found that they were already turning against each other and losing their footing.
In light of this chaos, Zheng Sheng settled down with some sunflower seeds and beer, ready to watch them go at it for a while longer.
"Don’t say that chasing girls is something I taught you; I’m not that capable! I certainly didn’t teach you two geniuses! If I told you to send roses, you'd go send yellow ones instead! Are you trying to scare them away?"
As the banter escalated, secrets from their past emerged one after another, much to Shi Tian's amusement.
"What’s wrong with sending yellow roses? A bouquet costs several thousand; I told them to pick the most expensive ones! They’re much pricier than red roses!" Air Force shot back at Shi Ye, his confidence visibly waning.
Back then, lacking experience led to many embarrassing moments. Now being called out by Shi Ye in front of Shi Tian made him feel utterly humiliated!
At least Air Force had some credibility; he at least sent roses—thankfully not sending Ju Zang instead—or else he would have truly scared someone away!
Just as Shi Tian finished feeling relieved, Lu Ya spoke up.
"Sending yellow roses is fine, but what’s with the bunch of Ju Zang mixed in?"
As soon as those words left her mouth, Shi Tian sprayed beer from his nose, realizing he had celebrated a bit too early. There really was someone who sent Ju Zang to girls!
Running a shop also comes with risks. If you get heavily charged for Air Force One's bill, then Zheng Dian would be investigated for fire safety the next day!
Listening to the commotion on the deck, several people were arguing, and Kang Ziyu and her friends hurried down. Shi Tian waved, and the three beautiful girls immediately came over. He even thoughtfully ran back to the cabin to bring out a plate of watermelon.
"You still have the nerve to say that to me? You sent her mangoes and dragon fruit!"
Hearing this, Shi Tian was taken aback, slowly raising his hand and hesitantly saying, "Sending water seems fine, right?"
"She's a nurse from the Emergency Department! Working the night shift! And this girl brought a basket of mangoes and dragon fruit to deliver!"
"Well! Sending mangoes to a nurse? Lu Ya sure has guts!"
"Was that my idea? It was Ye Ge's rotten suggestion!"
