Glancing at Old Kong's phone, Shi Tian awkwardly smiled, feeling embarrassed. He had indeed been quite busy these past couple of days and hadn’t paid attention to these things. He had scanned the QR code and confirmed it was Finless Porpoise feed, then he had simply dragged a bag of feed to feed the fish without taking the time to read the instructions!
Scratching his head, he turned to Yi Laotou and said with a grin, “Well, it’s not really feeding yet! You guys haven’t had breakfast, right? How about I catch one and make you some Chopped Chili Fish Head? But I haven’t actually learned Hunan Cuisine, so I’ll need you to guide me through it!”
With a knowing look, Old Kong smiled slightly, “We’re not worthy of Finless Porpoise Feed; you should keep it for yourself! Where’s your car? Let’s take this bag of feed and head to a good place!”
They hurried back, as it wasn’t just about the few dozen fish in Shi Tian's pond; it was more about the feed. Now that they had the feed in hand, they could only rely on themselves to raise the fish!
“The car? It’s in for maintenance. I’ll go get another one from Ye Ge; just wait here!” As soon as Old Kong mentioned the car, Shi Tian quickly found an excuse to run off and fetch that vehicle.
There was indeed an Electric Mini in the garage, but that car wouldn’t fit all four old men, especially since they also wanted to carry that bag of feed. His own Electric Mini wasn’t up to such a heavy task!
“No need for that; didn’t you drink last night? I’ll go with you to Jun Ge’s place to get another car; he should have one in his garage!” After saying this, Old Kong stepped outside.
Following Old Kong out the door, he paused and gestured for Shi Tian to lead the way.
“Did you drink with Old Lu last night? Did he ask you about Custom Rod Formula Craftsmanship?” Old Kong casually asked as they walked down the path.
Custom Rod Formula Craftsmanship was not only of interest to Old Lu but also to Old Kong. They weren’t looking to steal Shi Tian’s business; rather, they wanted to apply it to some major national projects.
Old Kong had previously acquired a Seven Meter Two Custom Rod. Ever since he got that set of Customized Rods, that particular rod hadn’t been seen again; it was still unknown how many pieces had been cut from it for research in some secret laboratory!
“I did ask! I gave him the material formula; otherwise, he wouldn’t have sent me so many materials!” Upon hearing this, Shi Tian immediately realized that Old Kong wasn’t just out for a drive but was also trying to gather information about Old Lu.
If Old Lu could figure out how to manufacture the Customized Rods, Shi Tian would be pleased. He didn’t have that technology himself, and if someone could develop it, it would surely bring about a material revolution.
Take Customized Rod Carbon Fabric for instance; at the very least, it could double the strength of existing Carbon Fiber. And that amazing vibration transmission material had countless applications; Old Lu certainly wouldn’t come after his Fishing Rod—a mere crumb of cake!
Hearing this, Old Kong paused in surprise. “You’re quite generous.”
However, this information wasn’t exactly a secret. As long as one could obtain a Customized Rod, figuring out the material formula wouldn’t be difficult; what was challenging was the manufacturing process. He had tried researching that Seven Point Two Rod but hadn’t made any progress at all.
“What about the manufacturing process? Did he only inquire about the formula and not any techniques?”
“Techniques? He wanted to know but I don’t understand either! Isn’t he supposed to be from a family of researchers? Can’t he handle this little bit of technique? Let him figure it out slowly!” Shi Tian chuckled lightly.
Just relying on a formula won’t yield results so easily. If it were that simple, they wouldn’t have spent decades researching Aerospace Engines without any breakthroughs!
Shi Tian’s words were something Old Kong believed. Since they couldn’t obtain the production process for Customized Rod materials right now, all Old Kong could do was focus on what was at hand.
After retrieving a vehicle from the Air Force Garage, Old Kong took Shi Tian back. Once they loaded the feed into the car, the old men got in and drove out of the villa area. After turning onto a small road and winding through for five minutes, three large ponds appeared amidst the jungle.
The pond had just been dug, and the soil beneath was still fresh. Currently, only one pond had water, while the other two remained dry. Looking up the mountain along the inlet, it was clear that the water must be flowing from Xinyue Lake. However, with the lack of rain this season, Xinyue Lake was likely to suffer again! If they used a pump to drain the water, those old men might just decide to bring in an Excavator!
Beside them stood a row of prefabricated houses. As soon as they parked, the door of one opened, and Old Liu directly lifted a large bag of feed from the trunk, swiftly carrying it into the house without breaking a sweat, as if no one were watching.
Old Liu was impressive! That bag of feed hadn’t been used much; it still weighed around eighty or ninety pounds. If it weren't for the young men doing heavy labor, no one could match Old Liu's strength!
Just as Shi Tian was about to slip into the house, Old Liu blocked the entrance, locked the door, and pointed inside. "Let’s go to that room with air conditioning; we can have tea there!"
