Old Lu's apology was sincere, but Shi Tian truly felt unworthy of such sincerity. According to Old Lu's rules, he had to drink three cups while Shi Tian had to accompany him with nine. Even by Shi Tian's own standards, he would still end up drinking the most. It felt like he was shooting himself in the foot; no matter how he calculated it, he was at a loss!
As for the rod, it wasn't really an apology. I could just take it back and fix it later! After thinking it over, Shi Tian decided to turn the tables on Old Lu.
"You want to force me to drink? Then I'll take back the rod! Let's see if you’re willing to part with it!"
Upon hearing that Shi Tian wanted to reclaim the rod, Old Lu immediately protested.
"Can it even be repaired? The parts are all gone! You just focus on sailing; I’ll go check the deck and see if anything fell overboard!"
With that, Old Lu lifted his leg and dashed out of the cabin, heading for the deck to come up with a plan.
He couldn't let Shi Tian take back the rod now! What a joke! If he didn't get off this boat himself, he would grab the rod first and then figure out compensation later!
At the entrance of the shipyard, Old Lu grabbed the rod and jumped ashore without a second thought. Watching Old Lu flee, Shi Tian realized he didn’t have time to chase after him.
Opening the Ice Chamber, he found rows of fish neatly packed. Li Ziyu and her companions had also come out.
"Xiao Yu, you all take these fish back first. I’m preparing for dinner tonight with Sea Fishing. I’ll go park the boat at Yacht Dock; I might be a bit late getting back!" He handed the fish over to Li Ziyu with a slight smile.
"Are you parking the boat yourself? Is it easy?" After taking the fish from Shi Tian, Li Ziyu passed them on to Jiu Yue and blinked her eyes in question.
"It’s not easy! How about you keep an eye on things for me? Just in case something gets bumped or scratched!" Li Ziyu blinked again, and Shi Tian decisively replied, pulling her onto the boat.
"Jiu Yue, Eleven, I’m counting on you to take the fish back first. We’ll gather at my place later. I’ll call my dad and let him know to wait!"
Supporting Li Ziyu as they climbed into the cabin, Shi Tian chuckled.
"You all better take care of my Xiao Yu! Or else you’ll regret it!" After teasing Shi Tian, Jiu Yue felt a bit speechless; Li Ziyu had defected! She was no longer part of their group!
Ignoring the banter between those onshore, Shi Tian quickly made his way back into the cabin to get the boat back to Hai Li.
Seeing Li Ziyu at the helm, Shi Tian couldn’t help but smile.
"Come on, Xiao Yu, let me teach you how to sail!" Standing behind Li Ziyu, he wrapped his arms around her waist and took her small hand to place it on the throttle. With a gentle pull of his right hand, Mini Air Force glided into Hai Li; this maneuver felt so natural!
"Hmph! Is this really teaching me how to sail? Or are you just taking advantage of me?" Her cheeks flushed slightly as Li Ziyu turned her head to give Shi Tian a playful glare, yet her small hand didn’t pull away from his grip.
"Aren't your advantages meant for me? Only I can take advantage; no one else can!" After saying this, Shi Tian gently adjusted the wheel with Li Ziyu’s other hand and turned them around.
Exiting from the shop and entering navigation, they turned a corner and were soon in Great Eastern Sea. Crossing over Great Eastern Sea and rounding Deer Turning Back heading northward brought them past Sanya’s western edge; most yachts congregated around Sanya’s Yacht Dock.
In Shi Tian's embrace, Li Ziyu’s cool demeanor melted away, leaving only endless tenderness. The two of them leisurely sailed along; what should have been a twenty-minute journey stretched into nearly an hour.
After docking the boat, they took a taxi back to the store. If it weren't for the appointment later, they could have chatted for another couple of hours. The Yalong Bay area also has a Yacht Dock; they should consider parking the boat there in the future since it's closer! Once they got off the boat, Li Ziyu became aloof, sitting in the back seat of the ride-sharing car and chatting with Shi Tian.
Jun Ge's boat must have some connection to this place, and the Air Force has always been docked here! Shi Tian casually responded to Li Ziyu while contemplating whether he should buy a boat too. Buying a boat isn't difficult; it only costs a few tens of thousands. He could take out a loan from Shi Ye and pay it back with the profits from his online store in just a few months.
However, while he could afford to buy a boat, maintaining one might be another story! Plus, with the Mini Air Force docked here, just like his own, he wouldn't have to worry about upkeep—wasn't that much better? Moreover, the Fishing Box had been upgraded, and now there were Rubber Boats and small boats available. If it upgraded again, would it produce larger boats? The probability seemed quite high. If a large boat came out, he wouldn't even want to buy one; building his own would be much better, and the quality would definitely surpass anything purchased!
He gently squeezed Li Ziyu's small hand and thought for a moment: Tian Ye wanted him to go to Xishuangbanna, which might require him to stay there for a while. Why not invite her along? While on the boat, he had confirmed with Shi Ye that Tian would take Lu Ying Er's ID to meet up in Xishuangbanna. They couldn't stay in Sanya for now; Old Kong and others weren't an issue, but there was still Old Lu.
Since chatting with Shi Ye, Shi Tian no longer found Old Lu as intolerable. Now that Old Lu had become Shi Ye's legitimate Father-in-law, he was an important relative; they couldn't let their relationship become too strained!
