Opening the surveillance footage from the Fishing Tackle Shop, I dragged it to noon and focused in. Li Ziyu had just fallen headfirst into a snowdrift that was about sixty or seventy centimeters deep. Shi Tianyi called out to Li Yunfei, and judging by their interaction, they had known each other for quite some time!
I rewound the footage to check the outdoor scenes, trying to see when Li Yunfei had met Shi Tian. As I scrolled back, I discovered that they had actually come from the sea together! When the Mini Air Force set off, Li Yunfei hadn’t boarded the boat—did Shi Tian pick him up from the sea?
If he did pick him up from the sea, there was only one possible location: the Drilling Platform! But that didn’t make sense! Li was on the Drilling Platform; if he had picked someone up from there, Li would definitely have introduced them! Shi Tian knew that Li was his own brother; if Li introduced him, there was no way Shi Tian would casually call him "bro"!

After finally escaping from a few old men, Shi Tian returned to the courtyard with a box of cigarettes in his arms. The old men were quite generous; perhaps it was because New Year’s was approaching! Plus, Old Kong and the others were heading to Huanggang tomorrow. They had helped Shi Tian carry a box of cigarettes—enough for at least a year without needing to buy more!
“Did you rob those old men or something?” Seeing Shi Tian carrying a box of cigarettes, Shi Chui was taken aback. The old men occasionally gifted Shi Tian a couple of packs of cigarettes; he had grown used to it. But this time they had given him ten packs all at once—would those old men band together and come after him?
“What do you mean robbing those old men? If I did that, you could secretly enjoy yourself!” What kind of easy target did he think those old men were?
Shi Tian glanced at Shi Chui and locked the cigarettes in the Storage Room. He said seriously, "The old man and the others are going out tomorrow and asked me to help keep these safe! You need to keep an eye on them; otherwise, I won’t have any explanation for the old man."
Upon hearing that the cigarettes were entrusted to Shi Tian by the old man, Shi Chui turned around. If these cigarettes belonged to Shi Tian, he would definitely take the initiative to help keep them safe. But since they were stored here by several old men, he could only look after them but not smoke them. What was the point of that?
After turning around and heading upstairs, he finally finished his tasks and could chat with Li Ziyu for a while. Soon, they would be going to Old Zhang's place for dinner, which was likely to last until midnight.

"Xiao Yu, why did you go to Shandong?" Seeing Li Ziyu in a down jacket in her room, Shi Tian was incredulous.
He wasn’t sure if his family had paid for heating this year. Even if they hadn’t, it shouldn’t be this cold! Both upstairs and downstairs had heating; even without paying for it, the temperature should still be in the teens. Had she just come in from outside?
"Tian Ge, when did you meet my dad?" Li Ziyu asked quietly after closing the door.
"Your dad? I don’t know him! Who is he?"
"The one you call Feige! Where did you meet him? I didn’t see him get on the boat when we went out to sea!"
Li Ziyu’s words struck Shi Tian like a thunderbolt!
"Li Yunfei is your dad? Then Hu Shuyi is your mom?" Shi Tian blurted out as he processed this information.
"You know my mom too?" This revelation added another layer of shock for Li Ziyu.
"We had dinner together in Xishuangbanna. At that time, they even said they wanted to introduce their daughter to me! I firmly rejected them!"
Thinking back on this incident made Shi Tian feel embarrassed; he had been played by Li Yunfei and Hu Shuyi! They must have known about his relationship with Li Ziyu back then!
"If you’ve had dinner with my parents, you should be able to recognize me! My mom and I look alike; you can’t possibly not see that!"
Caught in a secret romance that was exposed by her parents was one thing; it was another that both she and Shi Tian had been played by Li Yunfei and Hu Shuyi for so long while thinking they were hiding it so well!
