The nickname "Electric Car Guy" was given by Shi Tian during a public event at the Tropical Ocean Institute. Initially, Electric Car Guy rejected it, but the students had fun with it, and the name stuck. Now, when registering for Smart Rod, he even filled in that name himself. There was no way around it; after all, this name had become quite famous in Sanya's Fishing Circle! An organization dedicated to capturing Electric Car Guy had been established.
Wherever Electric Car Guy appeared, fish were sure to follow. Whoever could capture him would be close to Bao Hu. This organization originally consisted of members from the Da Gui Pai and Air Force Faction, but as more people learned about it, it grew larger. Eventually, they openly discussed plans to capture the wild Electric Car Guy in Shi Tian's group.
What they didn’t know was that Electric Car Guy had also been added to the group by Sun Lang, and he was disguised quite well. He even offered strategies for capturing himself, and occasionally, those strategies led to him being caught once or twice. Before long, he became a key figure in the organization. It was amusing that he was leading a group of people trying to catch himself!
"Hey! Electric Car Guy is here; we've saved you a spot!" As soon as Electric Car Guy arrived, Lobster immediately stood up. Sun Lang's Su Xueyi's shop had opened today, and quite a few Fishing Buddies showed up, including some Shi Tian who were not very familiar.
Seeing Lobster made Electric Car Guy’s eyelids droop. Among the organization members, this guy was the most active; he thought about finding another place to prank him next time!
"What are you coming over for? To get captured again?" The Fishing Tackle Shop had released Smart Rod; in the future, if someone caught a big fish, he would share it directly. Anyone wanting to find a fishing spot could simply check on social media! He took this opportunity to promote Smart Rod because Electric Car Guy hoped more people would use it.
Knowledge is money; the more people used it, the more tips he would receive, which meant more income for himself.
"Why capture you? It’s just to thank you for taking us fishing so many times; we just want to raise a glass to you!" Lobster said with a slight smile as he pulled Electric Car Guy over to his table and lit a cigarette. "Electric Car Guy, do you specialize in deep-sea fish? Like Tuna or Da Zhang Hong?"
Lobster wanted to drag Electric Car Guy over to inquire about deep-sea fish habits. The information they received from Oka and Shi Tian was mostly anecdotal; now they had grasped some knowledge. If they could combine it with Electric Car Guy's theoretical data, surpassing Shi Tian would be within reach.
"Research? We include all gill-breathing creatures on our research list; deep-sea fish are naturally on our list too! What? Are you thinking of going out to capture me? Forget that thought! Our budget is limited; we might manage some fishing rafts but going out to sea is basically impossible."
The cost of going out to sea is too high, plus there are issues like seasickness and safety. Even if the academy had money, they wouldn’t let them go out.
"Electric Car Guy, when we go sea fishing someday, let’s have some fun out on the water together! Students don’t get opportunities to go out at sea, but as a teacher, you can’t avoid it! If you’ve never been out at sea, how can you teach students based solely on what’s in books? What if what’s in the books is wrong?"
Listening to the people at the table trying to persuade Electric Car Guy to go out at sea made Shi Tian shake his head silently. What a good university professor bending over for a boat ticket—what has this world come to?
Fortunately for Electric Car Guy, he didn’t have time to go out at sea yet and could still share Fishing Spots every day while working hard on preparing boat fishing equipment!
In the early stages of Smart Rod's launch, they needed more people like Electric Car Guy who could provide quality Fishing Spots. There was him and Yi Laotou as another potential contributor.
He thought about creating several alternate accounts to give more tips and boost their enthusiasm! He decided this task would be left to the Unreliable Duo; they were quite reliable for such things.
"Xiao Feng, going fishing?" After leaving Sun Lang's shop, Shi Tian ran back inside to check today’s sales of Smart Rods; Hand Rods still accounted for Big Head's sales.
"Boss, I’m still on duty! Don’t test me; I’m a principled person who will never abandon my post!" Hearing Shi Tian invite him fishing made Xiao Feng immediately refuse.
Yesterday he had packed up all the fish from the shop and sent them to the nursing home. Now the fish tank was somewhat empty except for that Money Grouper Shi Tian caught before and three or four Black Sea Bream caught that morning.
Now that both primary and secondary schools are on break, there are quite a few people fishing, which means there are also many who can't catch anything.
