No matter if it was Carp, or even Bighead Carp, they threw in some Crucian Carp Bait too. Attracting the fish was one thing; whether they could catch them was up to them!
After more than half an hour of baiting with the Bai Tiao, Kong Ge had endured some hardships; if he didn't catch at least two decent fish soon, he would start getting petty.

Twenty minutes later, a small two-pound Grass Carp came up. It was good to see Chang Guadi again; he hadn't seen him in a while and wondered when he had started fishing in freshwater!
Behind him was another familiar face, Fishing Law Brother, dressed in plain clothes. The two approached together.
"Hey! Old Chang! Haven't seen you in a while—did you go on vacation? How did you get personally escorted by Fishing Law Brother?" Taking the cigarette offered by Chang Guadi, Shi Tian joked.
"Tian Ge, I suggest we kick out Fishing Law Brother from the chat! He's just a nuisance in there! He caught a shark earlier, took a picture and released it. Then he tracked my location and dragged me back to the station just to record my statement!"
As soon as they arrived, Chang Guadi began complaining.
He tipped one dollar for a share from Yi Laotou, excitedly ran off with his rod to fish. He cast it down and hooked a shark; feeling triumphant, he casually shared it online.
Following instructions from Shi Tian, Xiao Feng also tipped without thinking and only realized it was a shark after paying.
Meanwhile, bored out of his mind, Fishing Law Brother used his newly bought Smart Rod across from them to catch some more fish while checking out what others were catching on their feeds. In no time at all, he caught a small one—a little fish named Guo Er.
What are we waiting for? He tipped five dollars and headed over to their fishing spot in uniform with his apprentice driving their police car so he could see for himself what they were catching!
When they arrived, they found that Chang Guadi was holding up a tiny little fish called a small Su Mei, both staring at each other wide-eyed. After snapping a photo, startled by its size, he quickly tossed it back into the sea.
What does it matter if you throw it into the sea? If I don’t have time to come and fish myself, I can’t let you enjoy it either! Just going through the motions, let’s take it back for a cup of tea and symbolically write up a report!
After struggling for over half an hour, I asked if the shark and Su Mei had been released, and then we wrapped up the formalities. Fishing Law Brother started dragging Chang Guadi over to chat about fishing.
As we talked back and forth, I saw Shi Tian catch a Big Carp. Checking the time, it was about time to clock out. After changing clothes, Chang Guadi was dragged over by Fishing Law Brother! He was still holding his tools—a four-and-a-half-meter Iso Rod!
